Regarding the so-called "New Age" movement · 8:36pm Jan 30th, 2016

The supposed "New Age" movement isn't new at all. All it does is tack new names on things like occultism, spiritists, mediums, and other demonic influences. All around America and the world, people turn to psychics, self-called witches, to fortunetellers, palm readers, and do things like use Ouija boards and blood pacts. Not only do these people do these things, they reject the Pure ways of the God who made us all and provided for us salvation through Christ, who died to save us from these and other sins.

These evil things leave us in spiritual, mental and psychological darkness; none of these things can save, or provide true knowledge. The devil offers them as a snare, destroying good sense and turning hearts toward rebellion, offering, as he did Adam and Eve, to make mere men God, to replace God in our lives and say that we don't need Him. He lied, lies, and will lie; he is the father of lies and has no power or authority to make us so. The only true wisdom we can gain, though foolishness to those who are perishing, is through God, and that through Christ.

It is sad that so many are mislead with things like the occult mentioned above, in addition to horoscopes, and using games like Dungeons and Dragons to get closer to the devil who wants to destroy us all. And, very sadly, there are those who do worship the devil, and sacrifice children and animals in demonic worship, everything which is an offense to God;

"When you enter the land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not learn to imitate the detestable things of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or daughter pass through the fire (i.e. sacrifice a child in pagan, demonic worship), one who uses divination, one who practices witchcraft, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who casts a spell, or a medium, or a spiritist, or one who calls up the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the LORD; and because of these detestable things the LORD your God will drive them out before you. You shall be blameless before the LORD your God" (Deuteronomy 18:9-13, parentheses mine)

I ask and pray that everyone abandons these and other practices, and turns to God, who made them. It is a matter of choice, and I beg you, all who read, to make the right one. This life is fleeting, as are the things in it, but eternity lasts forever, and I think it is obvious that it is better to enjoy eternal paradise than to roast forever in hell. For God wants to offer us His Kingdom (Luke 12:32; Do not fear, little flock, for is its your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom), if only we would ask for it in faith and truth.

I wish you all godly success in your lives, and may the Lord protect you. I ask that all who answer this blog are respectful to others in the comments below.

I love this; a very Godly remark and bold statement.:scootangel:
God bless you.

3723467 Thank you, and God bless you as well :pinkiehappy:

3723507 How you been friend?

3723525 I've been doing alright. I hope the same has been going for you, firend friend :/ <- Why does that keep happening?

Dear Fireheart 1945, I do understand what you are saying, along with many other pegasister's and bronie's, but I dare not worship him no more in the conventional sense, this is not that I do not believe in god or that his ways are wrong, but more so because of the many misinterpretation's and the missing facts through out the good book.
The first of thee's is Genesis 1;26.
Then god said: "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness.....
The bible says he said "us" and "our", meaning there was more then one who created us.
But that must be a lie because the bible can not hold lies, can it.:twilightoops:
S.W.B.

3724589 It may well be a reference to the Holy Trinity, God the Father speaking to God the Son and God the Holy Spirit;

God (the Father), who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds (Hebrews 1:1-2)

Thus this world we live in was made through by the Father through the Son. The Holy Spirit was also present (see Genesis 1:2). (Link; http://hermeneutics.stackexchange.com/questions/5817/what-does-the-reference-to-us-mean-in-genesis)

Also; http://www.gotquestions.org/God-plural.html
Which answers the question directly.

However, the Bible makes it clear that we make our choice; we either choose to follow Christ or we don't, and these choice have eternal consequences.

"...But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD" (Joshua 24:15)

I can only hope - and pray- that you change your mind. But again, the choice is yours. Thank you for taking the time out to read this article, it was nice and polite of you to do.

3725140 Now as I said before and I quote,

.....I dare not worship him no more in the conventional sense,

I did not say that I do not follow the ways of Christ or God, but that I do it in my own way by respecting him through my actions to others as bast as I can.
may you live long and prosper, and may the force be with you in your ways.
Sir Well Borne.
