You know how she prepares for a party by getting all those colors of paint dumped into her bags, and separates them out later? The fact that you can't do that is a standard metaphor for public-key cryptography. I want to see Twilight inspired to invent it, and dealing with a pink mare who can thwart any encryption whenever it'd be funny.
