EDIT: issue has been resolved and it's all water under the bridge. Carry on.
So, as some may have noticed, a story called Crystal Wolves was removed by the mods as it contained a large amount of plagerised material from Nigel M Chalmers: Emperor. Already the author and a number of pissed off followers have... strongly voiced their displeasure, so why not nip this in the bud?
A few brief points:
1. The mods found that the story contains a large amount of copied material from mine. As in, larger than just 'inspiration'. There were examples of this for comparison.
2. The mods are not my 'bitch'. If you break the site rules by plagurising a fic, then go and draw attention to yourself by antagonising the author of that fic, then you're just retarded. (Ps Dreamon, if you hadn't been such a direct cunt then your fic wouldn't have even been given a second glance and you would have gotten away with it. Learn from it.)
3. Other Displaced stories that took inspiration from my fic are not on a 'hit-list' that I am secretly writing. I've only had a read through of one other one, and it didn't feel the need to copy even one line from mine. As long as you don't rip specific events, characters, and text then you're fine. I honestly could care less about your fics.
4. Sperging out and lashing out at me is really a futile action. For one, it wasn't my decision and I wasn't the one who forced people to copy shit. Two, I couldn't really care less about you 'losing the most favorite fic of mine to read on this entire site' if you can't see the reason for it.
5. That Displaced fic was shit anyway, loaded with memes and the protag lusting over his gigantic double-dicks that could split ponies in half. There was so much talk about how great the MC looked, that I swear his romantic interest was in fact his bedroom mirror.
Now, onto the PMs:
My most favorite story besides Griffin the Griffin/Falling Feathers, has been taken down because of you. The Crystal Wolves is dead because of your stupidity. Why? This story is one of the best I've read on FIMFiction! Yet you decide to take it down because it resembles too much of your story? Bullshit! It only has a little part at the beginning and that's it! I don't know about the other thousand or so that loved that story deeply, but I am enraged by your selfish actions. I am literally astonished and saddened by what has transpired. And that's not it! Other will told stories are going to die because of you. I'm sorry that your work has inspired others to make stories great or even better then yours, but that doesn't give you the right to call plagiarism when their is little and to none in stories. If other famous FIMFiction writers started doing that, I bet nearly half of the stories here on FIMFiction would be turned to the recycling bin. I don't know what's your problem, but stop this before others start giving death threats at your door. Literally, at your front door.

It's funny, that the fools who think/thought Crystal Whatever was good refused to actually read the source material (ie, Dropbears stuff). How could they like Crystal Wolves and not like any of the adventures of Nigel M. Chalmer that were ripped off?

I don't touch displaced fics with a ten foot pole. I loved your idea, and thought of attempting something with it myself, but couldn't find a way to do it in a new, innovative way that would make it noticeable on its own merit. You know, not using the start and general storyline of "X ends up ruling by killing Sombra" without trampling over your own ideas. Thus I ended that attempt, and focused elsewhere.
Second, a call to authors everywhere. Make your OC's relatable, dipshits! Even if he's a sociopath, some of what Chalmers does makes sense. Dipshits tearing up your empire? Fuck their shit up. Not everyone looks at Chalmers and thinks, "God I want his babies." Actually, I think I'd like to read a fic about Chalmers ending up in one of Bendy's fics

I need one thing clarified, what was the author's first language?
In a number of cultures plagiarism is "ok" because of how wide spread it is in that culture, so if his readers are of the same culture base then they will find it impossible to understand how/why the author was "in the wrong".
3712313 I'm not even sure that's part of the problem. I tried reading the story once and while I noticed similarities, I couldn't get into it. He later took the chapters down and posted a single chapter saying the story was under a rewrite, but by that time I had already moved on.
I lost respect for the author after he took his anger on Dropbear. That and it was a pretty stupid move. Oh well, people learn from their mistakes....hopefully.

3712471 eh, i was writing an Displaced story on Crystal Empire. Nothing like what Dropbear wrote, just a location interest (if i remember correctly, Dropbear even commented the story). Got bored with it and deleted it, because while i have many ideas, there's just not enough interest in me to finish what i start. I have started writing 7 original stories and lost interest in them within an heartbeat.

3712502 Eh, my story was about Mechari cosplay character (Wildstar is the game) to end up in crystal Empire BEFORE sombra took over. It was about going through the story of Mechari eventually becoming Princess Amore's assistant (While researching crystals for creation of pony Mechari army), while Sombra was still an advisor to Amore. The story would have ended when Sombra kills Amore, takes over the Crystal Empire and has Mechari happily manage his new slave empire, before Sombra is defeated and crystal Empire disappears. The sequel was planned, but i only wrote one chapter into the story described above before deleting it.
But anyway, you're story sounds interesting. And the story 'The Crystal Wolves' sounds more about story of actual wolves made out of living crystal (like timber wolves in mlp), rather than displaced story.

This whole debacle has been immensely humorous. While I read the story that was taken down, and I enjoyed it mind, it did take quite a bit of reference from Dropbear's story.
And I can understand where you're coming from -people who also liked the story- something that you enjoyed was taken down from the site. That sucks. Truly.
But to be perfectly honest here, Dropbear had very little to do with it's removal. He noticed it, I assume either he or someone else reported it, and then it was entirely in the Mod's ball-court.

(P.S. I loved your first ending with Nigel and his friends, it really brought back those Monty Python memories and even got me to rewatch the Holy Grail. While some people wanted to see a full on slaughterfest, I liked the more lighthearted and comedic ending.)

3830329 Please, do tell me what was "copied" because as far as i can tell it was only the architecture of the castle and to be honest, you never invented it. it is a landmark in my little pony owned by Hasbro and it has been shown to us a numerous amount of times depicting how it looks... other than that if their is Anythingelse that was copied... i would like to know. oh. and pls tell me, who cares if the descriptions the same. if you describe the white house their are only a few option from perfectly describing it to hinting on how it looks, show me specifically what he copied and if its only the building than their should not be a fuss, also verbally attacking will make you lose clam and make me think your just being a baby.

5. A character that wasn't even renamed.
6. Enough that the mods (who were the ones to investigate the matter, mind you) promptly told Dreamon to rewrite those bits.
