In the city of Canterlot, there was a moving van in front of a really big house. "And that's the last of the boxes, Mr. Wind Typhoon," the mover said, putting down a box in the living room.
"Thanks again for doing this in such short notice," Wind said, giving the mover her pay.
"No problem, I'm just glad someone moved into this house," the mover commented.
"Why do you say that?" Wind asked.
"This house belonged to a friend of mine," the mover said.
"So you wanted the house to be taken by someone?" Wind inquired.
"Just so someone can be happy, it's what he would have wanted," the mover explained.
"Well, I think I'll be happy, what's your name?" Wind responded.
"Just call me Liz," she said, walking back to the truck.
"Liz, I like it, it's been nice talking to you," Wind said, waving goodbye.
"It's been nice talking, see you later," Liz said, getting in the moving truck and leaving.
After Liz left, Wind went into his house and looked around the place. The home was fairly big, with multiple bedrooms, three bathrooms, a decently sized kitchen, a big living room, and another floor
"It looks like no one has been in here for a while," Wind thought. He then looked at the boxes in the living room and sighed. "This might take a while," Wind said to himself as he begun to unpack.
After about three hours of unpacking, Wind was finally finished unpacking all the boxes. "Finally, all done," Wind said, breathing a sigh of relief. Sitting down on one of the living room's couches, he started to collect himself when he noticed a door next to one of the shelves. "What is this room?" Wind thought to himself.
Getting up and going into the room, he saw that it was decently sized with a couch in the center and a shelf along the back. Upon looking at the couch, he saw a small box on the couch. Picking up the box, Wind found a note on the side of it. "What's this?" Wind thought as he read the note.
"For whoever moves into this house."
"- L"
"L, that's the same person who gifted me this house," Wind said to himself, remembering a letter he got last week. Opening the box cautiously, he saw a small case, a small book, a flintlock pistol, and a big book. Getting the items out of the box, Wind noticed that the big book had a piece of paper attached to it and he begun to read it.
"If you are reading this, then you now own the house you live in now. First off, let me tell, congratulations. Second, the objects in the box are some of my most important possessions, I ask you to take care of them. Lastly, there is more to this note on the back, but I would recommend you read at least the introduction to the book you holding. It might not seem important, nut it will help you with a decision you will have to make later on."
Now very curious, Wind pulled off the piece of paper and saw the cover of the book. It read "A History of Atop The Forth Wall, By: Linkara." "Linkara, I know that name," Wind thought as he opened up the book. He saw a long table of contents on the first page, immediately flipped to the introduction, and began to read.
"Hello there, if you're reading this, the that means something has happened to me and you now own my house. If you don't know me , then let me introduce myself. My name is Linkara, I'm the one who is the main character of this book and host the show Atop The Forth Wall. I'm a comic reviewer who has been through a lot over the years and I want to share my story with you. I think I'll start with the early days of the show, as well as certain events that transpired, and move on from there. With that, I welcome you to Atop The Forth Wall, where bad comics burn."
After reading that, Wind was amazed by what he just read. "So, this was Linkara's house?" Wind thought in amazement. Suddenly remembering the note, he flipped it to the other side and began to read.
"Now that you've read the introduction, I would like to ask something of you. The reason I'm writing this is because something is happening to me and I may not last long. I am going to leave this universe soon and it may take a few years before I return. What I want to ask is for you to take up the mantle of this shows host. You don't have to review only crappy comics, trust me, it's probably better if you don't. If you do choose to inherit the show, you can do what ever you want with it. However, you may run into some of the same dangers I have. Even so, will you do it?
-Linkara"
As Wind read that, he looked back towards the door where all his stuff was. "Oh, why the hell not?" Wind thought smiling a little. Wind closed the book and got up off the couch, when he thought of something. "Well, I think I know what to review first," Wind said, smiling as he left the room.
