OVERTALE: The Finals are in! · 6:21pm Jan 24th, 2016
It was a late-night upload, but the dev team finally completed the concept models for both Asriel and Lucas, more than likely for the release of the Demo coming in summer this year. Here, have a look:
Like I said, they're keeping the charm of Undertale! But they appear to be doing it through the power of chibi! I am... actually okay with this. Again, like I said before, I don't mind things changing so long as the game keeps the Undertale charm, and so far OvertaleRPG (the dev team) has been doing fantastically on making sure to do just that.
For those of you who haven't spotted the differences, I'll point them out for you.
- Asriel isn't naked anymore.
- Asriel has hair.
- More details on Lucas's jacket.
- Both no longer have soulless eyes.
- Lucas has DEM SYDEBERNS, BRUH!!
- Badass arm coat on Asriel.
- Chibi this shit up!
- They finally have eyebrows.
Still waiting on Sierra though. LOL

Temmie needs to be the main focus of the game! Temmie needs to be the main character, all of the npcs, all of the houses, all of the enemies, and the final boss.

I'm hyped for the game, but I have to admit: I don't think I'm going to like what they do with Papyrus. Seriously, what the actual Hell is even up with the concept art of him as a gun-touting hippy with an afro?

I have no idea is he's related to the skele-bros or not, but I do know that he is definitely not Papyrus.

...though, Asriel is the only one from the original game that was currently made 3D, and even then he's totally different from when he was a kid. I worry about how the 3D shift will affect our favorite characters.
