    I'm Sorry

I've spent so much time whining about my own petty little problems over the last couple of days when there are people I care about with actual problems. I'm giong to try and stop. I promised myself that even though I've failed myself and dissappointed many people around me, I will do everything in my power to make sure no one else is left alone. It is a horrible feeling that no one else should

Nova Digi Log: Stuff I Plan on Making · 6:33pm Jan 23rd, 2016

Whaddup, subs?! ... Anyone there? *crickets chirping* ... Well to those of you who are...

So, recently, I've been working on Harmony Gems and part of the MoE series. But I've also been doing some work on TV series I came up with over the past few years. These aren't just in my head; I've got a ton of stuff down on my laptop: characters, info, settings, plots, even people and studios I have in mind to help me make them! So, would any of you be interested in seeing me do some blog posts on them? Like certain scenes or profiles of characters? If the answer is yes, then here are your options:

1. Terra Firma: TF101 (superpowers, NTD future, 13+)
2. Program Heartless* (medieval steampunk, assassins, magic, 15+)
3. Fallen (sci-fi, alien, supernatural, 15+)
4. Just a Little Magic (kids, magic, fantasy world; 7+)
5. Dead Ringer (Zombie, horror, superpower, 18+)

*This is not mine, but a friend's; I'm working with him to expand it.

So, leave a comment if you're interested. The one with the most votes will take priority and get more updates.

So, lemme know.

3707614 Any one in particular catch your attention?

Those ALL sound awesome.

3707633 Sadly, I can't do all at once.:derpytongue2: Anyone especially catch your attention?

3707643 Fallen and Program Heartless jumped out especially

>intrigued

Mind giving a fleshed-out summary for some of these?
~Natz

3708796 3707752 3707631
Broader summaries:

1. TF101: After a cosmic event spreads massive amounts of theoretical energies around the planet, people develop superpowers. TF101 was founded as an international organization whose job is to help deal with Evo and Neotatum threats.

2. Program Heartless: During a civil war in the land of Alpheus, the ruling king formed a task force comprised of the most gifted assassins, mages, and hunters in the land whose job was to not only fight back the rebel prince, but protect the people from the Nyctores, a race of monsters that feed off the hearts and souls of the victims, Phages, humans turned into Nyctores, and evil witches and necromancers. However, they were all killed during a coupe. Now, thier children, who inherited their abilities, must carry one the legacy of protecting the kingdom.

2. Fallen: You know those stories about werewolves and vampires, gods and monsters? Yeah. Aliens that take refuge on Earth. Who keeps them in line? The Guardian Corp, a galactic alliance comprised of top agents from various planets.

4. Just a Little Magic: Seven young spellbinders are bound by a magical destiny to protect their world from dark forces that seek to ravage it.

5. Dead Ringer: In an attempt to create the ultimate cure for every virus, scientists instead created the Pandora Virus, which zombifies anyone exposed to it, ir worse. Gen-Tech, a multinational monopoly in genetic engineering, used this virus to spread chaos throughout the planet, then started the Aegis Initiative: any city/country who could afford it would get a massive wall and a force field that would keep zombies out. However, certain people, when exposed to the Pandora Virus, instead gained superhuman and paranormal abilities and were dubbed Dead Ringers, or Ringers for short. They work with a private organization to use their abilities to assist cities in need while trying to survive the zombie mayhem.

So, which one?

3708936 Yes.
They all sound pretty damn 5/7 to me, I can't decide.
~Natz

3708936 This is hard so Ima break it down.

Dead Ringer: Zombies so either you gotta be super duper creative or it has already been done.
Fallen: Justice Leauge, X-Men, Hell even Teen Titans to some degree.
Just a Little Magic: Does Madoka Magica ring any bells?

I'm not saying these are bad Ideas they have just been done before. However...
TF101: An argument could be made that this is a little X-Men like. From what you said it sounds like this is going to be a "Your a wizard Harry, now go to Hogwarts" story. Which isn't bad, however in my opinion...

Program Heartless: This one is 100% without a shadow of a doubt the coolest. It sounds cliche at the beginning, "Elite team to protect monsters" and then you said the words SteamPunk! It has been forever since we have had a good steampunk story, everything is becoming cyberpunk now and a bit of SteamPunk sounds like it would be a breath of fresh air. If you can pull this one off I think you have the potential for it to become super amazing! And I would love to hear more about it.

Sorry if I seemed a bit harsh about the others, it's just that the way there were presented is a bit cliche... which isn't necessarily bad, a new take on a cliche idea can lead to amazing results (look at dark souls). It's just you presented a much better IMPO idea. I would love to hear about your progress on all of them, (especially Program Heartless) and would also be willing to help. And again sorry if I came off as a bit harsh.

3711005 Well...

For Dead Ringer, we're not entirely sure. I working with a friend, so we're looking for stuff not yet explored in zombie stuff.

Fallen was not intended to be anything superhero related. It's closer to stuff like Mass Effect. The Guardian Corps are more official, with uniforms and stuff like that.

Just a Little Magic was actually inspired by MLP and Popixie, but less... childish, I guess is the word?

TF101 is nothing quite like HP story, though. Metahumans choose what they want to do with their powers, TF is just there to make sure there are as few casualties as possible when someone with seismic powers decides to step into a building in a bad mood.

Heartless got quite a few yeses. It's kind of like Akame ga Kill + Witch Hunter + RWBY (and it's not even 100% my idea; my friend came up with the actual idea, I came up with the recurring themes and elements in the series), but it's not the only steampunk idea. It's just the other only has characters and setting; not much to rhe story just yet.

But thanks for the criticism.

3711018 I notice a lot of RWBY in PH which I kinda like since I'm on an RWBY kick right now while waiting for MLP to start back up, and I would love to see a Remnant style medieval world. I think that would make for a very interesting story.

TF101 sounds a lot like superheroes or maybe Power Rangers and just like Dead Ringer: you have to be super duper creative or it will have already been done.

I would see a less childish MLP (a bit of the appeal of Fallout: Equestria, and hopefully my Project! Equestria series) but again you have to be a really good writer (like the ones at DHX (kinda)) to make that appeal to its obvious target demographic while still appealing to an older one as well.

So back to PH, it sounds like a traditional high fantasy story with a SteamPunk vibe. You would be going for the Warhammer, Tolkien, and Dungeons & Dragons (hey another Hasbro IP) communities with that one. Along with the fans of RWBY, Avatar (TLAB, and Korra), and the higher octane anime lovers (Akame ga Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, etc...).

Dead Ringer would bring The Walking Dead, The Last of Us, High School of the Dead, <insert more zombie things here>. TF101 and Fallen would probably bring the Comicbook fans. While JaLM would bring the Bronies and the little girls.

So who do you want to cater to? Comicbook Fans, Tolkienites, Comicbook and Video Game Fans, Bronies, or Zombie fans? Each of them has their own pros, cons, likes, and dislikes which you would have to cater to/deal with.

Not sure why I am continuing to overly analyze these concepts... and sorry if they are getting annoying, It's just that you have some good ideas and I don't want them to go to waste like so many of those that came before.

~Benner

3711980 Nah. It's fine. Actually, the point of these different ideas is to see where I do best.

For TF101, the unique thing is the setup. It's not a typical superhero thing (they don't have costumes, but the do have a uniform). TF (the organization) os set up like SHIELD from Marvel, then plus superpowered agents.

In Dead Ringer, some people exposed to the virus didn't become zombies, but it gave them zombie/ghost-like powers instead (the titular Dead Ringers). It's similar to HoTD (in terms of how it all began), The Walking Dead (how they survive), and even Resident Evil (but less nightmare fuel, since it's a cartoon/anime).

But judging from the results, PH seems to get the most thumbs up. So I guess I'll start with that one.
