I was ok with World of Remnant when it came out because it was a cool little extra piece of lore about the world that wasn't constrained by the narrative.
Of course, back then, the 4-5 minute World of Remnant episodes didn't interfere with the release schedule of RWBY's real episodes.
But what crosses the line is when you have an episode where you kill off a major character and throw the whole city into a state of chaotic conflict then have the audacity to make me wait an extra week over the production of a half-length lore short that isn't even in the same style or format as the show I'm waiting for?
I was going to go get RT Sponsor membership so I could see the new RWBY episode tomorrow. But there isn't a new RWBY episode tomorrow. So I guess I'm not going to. EVER.
