    Stormrider is Out!

Finally, after all this time, I've gotten Stormrider where I wanted and have posted it. This is my final new story before I start going back to my older ones. I know this project has been heavily delayed, but no more! The Stormrider

    -Cheers for That!

    Small Update

I am still around and I have been writing more. I just haven't released anything as of late. The main story I have been working on is The Stormrider. I have 7 chapters written and my plans extended to further chapters. Expect it soon. I'm trying to decide a good day to release it and Eagles, you may get an early look at it.
    That is all

    Want a Hearth's Warming story?

So, yes, I have thrown my entry into the rising pile of Christmas/Hearth's Warming fictions. This one is about Starlight with the help of Spike, getting Trixie a Hearth's Warming gift. It's the first time Starlight has ever done such a thing and she needs help.

So will she get Trixie the best Hearth's Warming gift? Well, she may give something she didn't expect.

Assassins: no longer smoke and daggers, but phones and guns.

Well we do know the Assassins survived into the modern day so there techniques and tools would have evolved as would how they fight there war.

This is what is missing from the more recent Assassin's Creed games, a modern section for the game. From The second game until the Black Flag had a good modern day segment that helped tie the stories together.

I love the idea :D someone needs to write this

3705093 A action modern segment. Generally there less than exciting chapters.

I am so ready.

3705060 Why of course they would. Adaptation is a must to succeed any war.

3705093 Yup. I'm actually one to be like "AC should of never had an Animus" but with the Animus, why not have some sweet modern Assassins (that are not Desmond)? I think Ubisoft answered it with Watch Dogs, so I'll make a similar (yet different) answer as well.

3705254 Someone? I think I know who you're speaking of.

3705314 I'm not yet, Further preparation is required...

3705428 Different kind of war as well. Think about it, you don't have to kill a man to ruin him anymore. Just destroy his info trail. Imagine a CEO waking up on the morning and by nightie his business is electronically sold and his assets liquidated while he can only watch.
Templars would have little need for a man or woman who can't contribute like he used to.

3705428 am I the only person who didn't mind Desmond from the start? IMO, it would have been awesome if they kept him around for a modern day AC gameplay that involves guns and stuff, kind of like what they started in AC3.

3705445 Exactly, but we need some more CHAOS in there!"

3705449 I didn't mind Desmond until AC3. He became a whiner and even more of a whiner. The best modern missions were in the early AC3 story, I'll agree with that, but it's his character that throws me off. I hope they do better in the movie this December.

3705474 I heard the modern guy isn't Desmond. It has a new main character. I found an article about it here.

3705746 Yup. They went with an original story line and nothing from the games. Although, it DOES take place in Spain during Ezio's time , so we may have a reference to his work in Italy. But only maybe.

3705767 at least we might get a fresh take on the storyline. We probably will see some Ezio references, because he is the mentor of the entire brotherhood, after all.

Really hope the year break that Ubisoft is taking will lead to a better fleshed out game. Been a fan since the start and even read the books. Really wish they had more time with John De Lancie (Desmond's Dad, yeah Discord who knew?) because he and Haytham's awesome hat were the only reasons I stayed for AC3. And especially after the Unity fiasco where a previous gen game released at the same time ('AC: Rogue', I highly recommend it if you want to tie up certain plotholes in AC3) was an insanely better success.

Honestly, I know some people were tired of Ezio but I've missed him ever since Revelations. And honestly wanting to see if we can finally hunt down Abstergo's Alan Rikkan from the start of the game at some point.
But hey at least they explained the space alien part as not actually being space aliens and are continuing to shove it down our throats on every game released even Syndicate, especially Syndicate. :trollestia:

While it's just a theory, A GAME THEORY, there is a video on YouTube that explains a possible connection between Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed

This is still a good idea, and you should go with it. (Or maybe make a sort of what if story? Seperate from this one. Then again, you are the author.)

3706097 I actually don't mind where any of the games take place, the world's history is fascinating in any time or location.

I only hope they construct good characters. I really like Evie and Jacob (even though the final boss was cringe worthy, but hey, I laughed out loud at ACII's pathetic final boss). Yes, ya gotta have good gameplay, but AC is more about the beauty and characters than gameplay ever was concerned. If one judged AC1 by gameplay alone, I wouldn't rate it high, but its story and characters are what make it interesting.

AC Rogue is the most underrated AC because Shay is one of the best protagonists and its story is so emotionally driven and well done. Much better than Arno or Connor could ever be.

But yeah, what ya said. We're gonna have the movie as our yearly AC mouthfull. I hope for all video game franchises that it does well and ends the horrid video game movie curse.

3706134 Already seen it and since I own Black Flag, I've seen Watch Dog stuff be mentioned in the Out-of-Animus sections.

Well, Harmony's Creed angled itself to the Watch Dogs style. There won't be any Fixers or anything as it simply has the modern Assassins be like the hackers of Watch Dogs. I plan this upcoming story (The Sons of Discord...name pending) to be a sequel to Harmony's Creed. However, it will only take place in the modern time, following Daring Do, who is the Desmond of this universe you could say. Two very different worlds but they are the same universe.

I'm not sure if you've read Harmony's Creed, so I won't spoil it. You'll find it pretty different from most AC crossovers on this site.

3705428

Thinking on it more the issue is that throughout the games since Desmond's death we have been left guessing where the plot is going. The Juno plot line hopefully can get some resolution soon because that is what derailed Unity was in the end it was all a wild goose chase that did not advance the overall plot. Black Flag set up a interesting story but it feels like the producers have no clue where to go with it.
