Well, we've finally got a glimpse of what our characters are gonna look like in the game. As I suspected, they're 3d, but I think the whole "Undertale Charm" is still there. Well, that's just me anyway. Okay, I won't dabble on any longer. Why don't you just take a look for yourselves and be the judge yourself?

Remember, these are only concept builds, meaning they are subject to change one day. Obviously, they're not complete since the models show a distinct lack of facial features, but again, I'm really liking the direction the OVERTALE dev team is going with this. I really hope to see more from them in the near future!

I dunno. I'm still of the opinion that Undertale can only work in 2D, but these are decently made.

My belief is that so long as the game can capture the original charm of the game, the actual graphics don't matter.
Well, they are still the alpha stuff. I mean, for god's sake, Asriel isn't even wearing any clothes!
...well, I mean, they do; I don't want to be looking at a pile of trash through the entire game.
But I still believe writing and characters, as well as gameplay, triumph over graphics. Hell, why do you think Minecraft is still popular? The story's shit and the graphics are starting to become a little dated, but it's the sheer creativity you can have with it that keeps it going.
