My name is Doctor Vohr T. Tex. A simple student in the countryside of WV. But enough about me, lets hear the backstory of the character of Dr. Tex.
Dr. Tex was born on the planet Halcandra. His father was the leader of the Vortex Masters, Solaris. His mother was named Astra. Tex studied the arts of time and space travel. He learned a lot of things other Halcandreans didn't know existed. He was also an archeologist, studying many ruins and learning EVEN MORE stuff. However, this came with the knowledge of Naga, the ruler of the Negaverse. He tried to warn his father, but Solaris said" That's just silly. My father banished Naga a long time ago!" After some more studying, he found out that on the night, when the " Princess of Darkness" would be banished in a faraway world, Naga would be awakened.
He monitored the planets and found one most suited for this " Princess of Darkness". A planet called Equis was brought to his attention, and it's main country, Equestria. He learned of the Three Tribes; Earth Ponies, Unicorns, and Pegasai. He learned of the Windigos and of the Two Royal Sisters, Celestia and Luna. Luna caught his attention, being the princess of the night. He then went to the Great Archive of Halcandra and searched for ( and technically stole) the great book of prophecies, The Halcandria Hystoria. What it said was true. One fateful day, HE returned.
It was total war for the next 100 years. Tex fought valiantly. But near the final days of the war, Halcandra had become a ruined planet. Filled with lava and empty of hope. They were victorious, but Naga and the Negative Forces were still active. Many of the Halcandreans refused to leave. However, Tex had a brilliant idea. He would travel the multiverse in search of the Great Naga. He built a ship from the gold that was uncovered during bombings from the war, and built his gunship, The Gold Gunner. With it, he flew away from his home and traveled the stars.
One day, he stumbled across a world unlike any he had seen. Yet it was strikingly familiar. He approached and made a landing. Upon exiting the ship, he realized where he was. Canterlot, Equestria, Equis, the Great Celestial Solar System, one of the 7 Great Systems. He couldn't believe it. He was on the same planet that he had studied over 100 years ago.
He came to the conclusion that, if Nightmare Moon were to return, then the Negative Energy would as well. If he could get a sample of that energy, he could track it to it's source, Naga. He continues to wait out the 900 years of Luna's banishment, while taking out a Big Threat from the world of shadow.
That's all so far, basically. I will soon post a Story based on the last year before Luna's return, where Dr. Tex meets a new foe, so look out for that. See you there! ONWARDS AND UPWARDS! (I really hope I don't get sued for using that catchphrase......)
