Scene of the Quarter
The 2015 Q4 "Scene of the Quarter" is complete and has come out beautifully. The theme was "Silent Knight, Dragon Negotiator" and Painted Wave nailed it! Without further hype...
The voting for the 2016 Q1 "Scene of the Quarter" is also complete. The winner was: Azurite, Pink Pony, and Soarin playing cards. We'll be working to make that happen! Look for it sometime in Q2.
Memoirs of a Royal Guard 2nd Edition Hardcover
We've made a huge deal of progress on the hardcover for Memoirs. As of today we're up to 45 deposits! That is starting to bring the cost per unit down dramatically. My initial goal for this was 15 so that has been blown away. Now I'd really like to see us reach 60. That reduces the production cost per unit. I'd really love to get this down to $35 per book shipped if I can. We'll see how it goes!
Painted Wave has signed on to do the cover. It will be a dust jacket, full on cover like the image you see above. I'm excited to see what she comes up with. It will be amazing!
Editing is also coming along very well. My goal is to finish rewrites through chapter 50 this week. Editing should be completed through about chapter 10. Chapters 1 and 2 have had their final touches and are "done." They've been updated on FIM if you wanted to check them out. If you find something (other than commas) please let us know via PM!
