Sombra dues and "I See You" - A Preview · 4:11am Jan 13th, 2016
It's awesome to see I didn't arrive too late to the MLP Fimfiction Sombra love-fest! The character has had some challenges with audiences… accusations of no lines, personality, or screen time. But we here at Fimfic know so much better, don't we? There is soooo much more to our glorious King of Shadows than the enticing bits the series showed, and here on this amazing website lay the talented writers all around me to bring that to light.
Thank you everypony who made up the 100 views Child of Shadows got as of today.
Two Sides to Every Heart also hit a goal that I never even thought possible. Of the 88 views and 6 Likes it's received, there is NOT ONE DISLIKE for the King of Shadows and his people's side of the taking-back-the-crystal-heart story. That surprised me most of all the hits, feedback, and comments on these three stories.

The Mad Seeress of the North is still young – not even a week old yet. She'll have her time and get her chance. The next part is THREE TIMES as long as the first one – more than 3,000 words. It's funny, I seem to have a default of doing chapters of just over 1,000 words for some inexplicable reason. I'm not stingy, I think I just write very tight scenes. That habit is over with the introduction of my crazy, future-seeing nut job alter ego, Nyx. There is so much of her story to tell and her connection to her beloved King that just cannot be shortchanged by tight prose. She makes her story debut this Thursday (the Fimfic editors be willing). A sample of her story follows.

part two of The Mad Seeress of the North
“Tartarus!” the attendant yelped, cowering back. Never before had the Seeress's insane rants included speaking in another's voice, especially one so saturated with such a burning evil in its whispery inflections – like a thousand trapped, angry pony shades screaming to escape their vile prison bonds. And, unlike the others that had actually issued from Nyx herself, this one seemed to come from the air around them as if the room itself was bleeding future visions into their reality that could no longer be contained!
As much as it scared Charon, she approached Nyx, who was still pinned, frozen in fear, gazing at something or somepony directly in front of her. Her hooves were pressed up against her breastbone, the flesh actually compressed by an unseen force.
“Goddess! Nyx, can you hear me?” a hoof ventured out to the black mare's shoulder. If she could touch her, perhaps the grounding in the present would break whatever unseen creature had her trapped...
The room's light dimmed, the coastal fog creeping over the balcony, coiling thickly at their hooves, turning into smoky darkness.
It noticed Charon.
