Although this is a day late, It has just come to my attention that David Bowie has passed.
I really don't give two shits about this blog, but this came as a shock to me, not as much as Robin Williams, but just... Damn. Nobody should really know this about me, but I am a pretty big fan of David Bowie and the experimental style and really unique style of his music through the ages.
Now, I am not one to pile on to a recent event, but this just completely ruined my day. Wow... I really can't think of anything else to say about it.
Feel free to share what your favorite song of his was.
Mine is definitely Modern Love, I love that song so much that In my Biggest fic (Which I just need to fucking publish already cuz its never going to finish its second draft) I actually have two character get drunk and sing it at a Highschool campfire.
In all honesty I really haven't listened to much of his stuff apart from "Major Tom" which is about the only thing the stations in Austin play from him. But I am planing on watching Labyrinth tonight in memory
