My name is Matthew Rock. I made the dimension leap hoping to find a better life in Equestria and a decent job, but instead I'm stuck at some hole in the wall. Guess I gotta make the best of it for now.
Life in the Donut Hole is not your normal HiE.
It does not contain a human saving Equestria.
It does not contain a human with special powers.
It doesn't even contain a human meeting with the mane 6.
What it does have is a donut shop-turned-restaurant in the middle of Canterlot; a cynical, foul-mouthed, sarcastic, aspiring chef human; his gay, bat-pony, Royal Guard psychologist roommate; and their interactions with fellow Canterlot residents and personalities as they try and make their way in this world. Combining Slice of Life, Comedy, and Drama, Life in the Donut Hole may not be your normal HiE, but that's part of the charm.
