The End of A New Kind of Party

It's finally here, the end of the TwiPie story, A New Kind of Party. It's been a long time, with lots of space and delays between some of the chapters.

The End of A 'Not So Simple' Simple Life

At long last, Simple Life has come to an end. It's been many years now and it's rather long. The couple certainly have come a long way, and have finally made progress. But this wasn't the original plan.

    Changes to "One Winter's Day"

So, as some pointed out about my story, One Winter's Day, it wasn't exactly 'done'. The story had mostly a beginning and sort of end, and not much of a middle.

I hadn't wanted it to be very long, afraid I would make it super long. Guess I made it too short instead. So now, I've added more and hopefully it feels better for everyone else too.

    Enjoy the holidays folks!

A New Kind of Party Seperating from Show Cannon

Meant to post this at the same time as the last New Kind of Party update, but this would be roughly where the story is definitely separating from the main cannon. It will deal with some of the episodes coming up (especially the ones I pointed out in one of my previous blogs) but this

    The Legend of the Everfree

How funny that a couple of months after I return from a summer long sleepaway camp in the woods on the mountains, my little pony comes out with their latest movie based on a camp. :rainbowlaugh:

Update and Announcements for A 'Not So Simple' SImple Life · 4:22am Jan 8th, 2016

Soooo, here we are, the last of three updates for these 'main' stories. The focus (really, you need an explanation? :derpytongue2:) is to talk about what is going on with the stories and how I'll be making changes to the updating system. I'm going to tag just NSSSL for this one, and hopefully that page break will prevent anyone from getting really really long blog posts about similar kinds of things. (yes, I've edited this. the number of chapters in total has changed, making the total percent done change)

After reading a comment about how long it would take for just one of my stories to finish, I went back and thought of some other ways to encourage a faster update rate. First, I'll try to set aside a set number of hours to write per day. This is tricky in that I have other things I need to balance it out with. Girl Scouts needs a certain amount of attention as it is. Then there's other artistic hobbies as well as not so artistic things, like video games and stuff. Aside from the drive of wanting to finish these stories, financial motivation is also helpful. Becoming a patreon perhaps? But then again, this is fanfiction. Why pay when you can just read whatever? It's understandable. I will keep at writing, either way.

The second way is to do story updates in large chunks. Multiple chapters at once. To help speed and flow of the story, I'll be posting multiple chapters in a row for the different stories. So... For all you SL lovers out there, you get the first block of chapters. There will be another four or so chapters. Then 'A New Kind of Party' will be the next chunk, then Taming the Storm.

I mentioned in the previous blogs how far along the stories were. Well, here ya are. SL is about 32% done. In that it has 62 chapters, and remember that chapter 19 has just finished. So yeah, SL is the middle length of my three 'main' stories. Even though I'm highly bemused by the two mares.

The story I am going to update is the CMC story next, but that's only because I want to finish the 'roll' I got going for it. Then it's right back to SL and two crazy mares in love. I'm probably forgetting something. It's just what I do half the time. I'll get back to it when I can tomorrow, and see you in the future!

Lol! All kidding aside dear, this is turning out to be a very fantabulous story you're making And at only 25% completion!!!!

Though I would like to say for you to take your time with the tale. As much as I'd love to get to the next chapter of one of my favorite reads (and I REEEEEEEALLY would~), good things take time to make. You can always tell a rush job apart from one that took time and consideration to make. And I, for one, am enjoying the depths in which you make your chapters.

.....Of course, I'm speaking for myself here, dear. Not many others would agree :twilightsheepish:

Keep on writing, my dear~! Your audience (me~) patiently awaits your next installment!

3674862 Lol, thanks for commenting and glad to hear you really really like it.

Yeah, I like to write every part I can, and shows in how much detail I put in. Though luckily, if the story is fluid enough (and strong enough) in my mind, then I have an easy time writing without noticing how much I've done already in a short time. SL has some of the more vocal shippers (that I've noticed) when it comes to commenting on stories. TTS gets the 'this is amazingly sad!' stuff while NKP gets 'it's so fluffy I'm gonna die!!!' kinds. Always fun to see. :pinkiehappy: Keep an eye out, and we'll see how easily (or not) the new system for writing works.

Thanks again for leaving a comment. And so energetically too.:rainbowlaugh:
