Update and Announcements for A New Kind of Party

This is going to be one of three individual blog posts concerning my 'main' stories. The focus of this blog (if the title didn't make sense ) is for 'A New Kind of Party', my Twipie shipping story. Please be aware that while I will only tag NKP, I do have some news that could potentially matter for all three. Here we go! (there has been an update to the final number of chapters)

So, going back and thinking about how many chapters there are verses what has been finished, the story is currently 25% done. The story is going to have 56 chapters, and only 15 are done. This isn't as bad as say, Taming the Storm, which is only 15% done, but that means, switching back and forth between three stories, that it would take me a long time at my current writing rate. Especially considering the slow down that occurred last year.

But I have good news! My current job as a Bus Aid means I have time in the middle of my day that I could potentially use for writing. However, this is not always the case as I'm still balancing Girl Scouts and other artistic hobbies, as well as some not so artistic hobbies (like playing video games). Girl Scouts I can't help, they need the attention I give it. Other hobbies help to break up the rush and burn out that may occur when working on one thing too long. While i don't want to take a long time writing, it's being balanced out by other things I don't get paid for. I want to make writing a job, but pony fanfiction takes up a LOT of my time now.

I'm still young though, with many years left to me and I shan't give up! In fact, so many consider me as highly immature that I may even have longer than the usual adult who fails at adulting to do fun easy going stuff. It's what helps make it so easy for me to be a Girl Scout.

I will strive in the next several years to finish these three main stories. It would be a great help if there was more financial support through things like Patreon, but since this is all for pony fun, I understand if people would rather just read stories. It's going to be a balancing act, and one I will try to win, just getting money for it helps. Money does make the world go 'round after all. Well, that and ponies.

So what does this mean for NKP? I'm going to change how I do updates. To speed up the flow of the stories and hopefully induce a faster pace, I'm going to do updates for specific stories in chunks. Instead of one chapter of each story, one after another, I'm going to do multiple chapters of one story, then do multiple chapters of another. So, after a round of 'A 'not so simple' simple life' there will be four to six chapters (potentially) of 'a new kind of party'. Why that specific number (roundabouts)? Because, I have all the plots of each chapter given a brief summery, and that 'feels' like a good time to stop. But I'll know more when I get to it.
