And no the next chapter is not done yet. Though it is getting there. I've finished the rough draft need to go through and do some minor edits next. After those edits are done I read, re-read and re-reread it before I scrap the whole thing and rewrite the chapter. Yes this actually how I do these. I get the basic premise so I know what's going on, what's supposed to happen. All the who, what, when, where, why and how questions. Then I can rewrite a better more immersive chapter the second time around that aside form editing is pretty much the finished product that gets delivered to the intertubes (spell check keeps insisting that isn't a word).
It's a good thing I didn't plan on pumping these out at regular intervals. This way I can keep a tighter reign on the story and not get carried of on tangents (I cut maybe four or five chapters worth from the prior chapters). Don't worry about the story being short though. The initial start-up is quick until we get into the meat of the story which should be somewhere in the vicinity of chapter 6? So that pretty much sums it up. I'm still kicking. And as long as I'm still kicking and y'all are still willing to read, I'll keep writing.
