In a fit of self-centeredness self-absorption arrogance curiosity, I googled my username. What came up was mostly unsurprising. A bunch of youtube reading downloads(Big Mac's Dick is Made of Pandas seems to be the most popular for some reason), a bunch of fics of mine I didn't even know were on Goodreads(including, ironically, a few that are not good reads), and a few reviews, one which was not made aware to me―probably for good reason. But that's not why we're here today, as you can tell by the tagged story.
Someone read the tagged fic, Twilight on Acid, and wrote a story that was inspired by it, Erza Unintentionally Does Drugs .
Now, this is a Fairy Tail fanfic, but I've been assured that it's decent because I haven't seen the show Fairy Tail at all(the characters I may have come across in compromising situations. I'm not sure).
It tickles me a certain shade of pink that someone was inspired to write a story after reading one of my stories. I'm not really sure how to explain it. It's just a general sense of well-being, I guess, that I pushed someone to write that crazy idea they had in their head and electronically publish it. I don't know. I'm not sure there's a protocol in place for something like this.
I'm fucking floored. Holy shit.
To be inspired is a great thing. To inspire another is even greater.

Well you ARE fanfiction God. You somehow manage to create a near replication of fan fiction stereotypes and still make them entertaining, so I'm really not shocked.

This once happened to me too! It was definitely very exciting to know that I inspired another person to write a story!
