Yes, this is another 2015 blog, but—surprise!—it's on the first of 2016! Now, I'll say this right now, 2015 has been the best and worst year of my life. Isn't that contradicting? Now, I've made tons of great memories in 2015 with editing Fallout Equestria: Pink Eyes, going to Midwest Brony Fest and BronyCon, and just meeting new people in general. I also learned more about my favorite subject: grammar. I've made numerous friends this year and actually got to meet some of them in person, which was awesome. If it wasn't for 2015, I know for a fact I wouldn't be where I'm at now at my knowledge of grammar, my circle of friends, and many other things.
However, there's also been quite a bit of bad things this year that's happened. One of the more recent ones was the fact that my mother and I could have lost our house due to the bank not wanting to renew the loan. Now, though, we're in the clear with the loan (gotta thank my grandpa for that...), but it still doesn't make the fact that I was pretty stressed for about a month there. Another thing was Terry Pratchett dying. While I never actually knew him personally, I really looked up to him as a writer. He was amazing and his books still are. And, well, the probably worst thing that's happened was near the beginning of the year. You see, back when I was younger, I had a pretty good friend. His name was Lazarus. However, he started going to a different school back in seventh grade. Near the time of last December, I believe, I got back in contact with him through Facebook. As it turned out, he was also a brony, which was, in my opinion, pretty awesome. However, in late February, I got the news that he committed suicide. I honestly did not see that coming. I was pretty devastated about the whole thing for about a month. He was the first person I've ever lost who has been close to me. I'll miss the guy. I know that for a fact.
Now, let's move onto the future. 2016 is shaping up to be a great year. I'm going to be graduating from high school, going to college, possibly going to one more con, and doing a lot of writing and editing. Currently, I have three stories in the works (two of which are one-shots) and one that's being written, which is Hotel California. I'm hoping to finish both one-shots relatively soon and the other story sometime this summer. In the pursuit of Hotel California, I hope to put out at least ten chapters this year, which, considering how often I really write, is a lot. As I've said before, Hotel Cali is my major focus. Thinking about it, I'll probably be writing mainly during the summer. I'm currently unsure on how college is going to turn out, but I hope I won't be too busy.
All in all, 2015 was... well, I don't know how to describe it in one word. However, I do hope 2016 turns out better. I guess you could say I have some high expectations for this new year. I hope you guys have a wonderful 2016 as well. 
Sorry to hear about your friend, Stahl. Glad you kept your house, though. I'm glad to have met you, even it it's 'only' online. ;)
