In EQG Friendship Games Twilight sings her 'I want' song. This is one of my favorite songs, and everyone notices one line in particular, "Another me I haven't met." Yes that line does very clearly point towards Equestria's Twilight. However, the idea of Twilight saying something like that doesn't make sense to me.
I believe that Twilight is not directly referring to another her from a different dimension that she could physically meet. Twilight is singing about how there's something more out there. She's stuck in a day to day that she is done with, and knows that some things going to change. This is a turning point in her life, and she's going to have to change either to handle it or in consequence to it. People change, sometimes in small ways, and sometimes in big ways. After a change you aren't the same person, not completely. I believe that that's what Twilight is referring to, a her after all this is done that is brand new. A her that she hasn't become, hasn't met.
Sorry if I'm bad at explaining, but it makes sense to me.
