Why I Never Write or Update

Hey folks!

So a lot of people seemed to like "It's Got To Be My Destiny" which makes me super happy! Thank you so much for all your favorites, for a third story I never could've imagined that much attention.

Here's the scoop: The story isn't being deleted don't worry, but I'm officially moving it's status to hiatus, as I should've done awhile ago.

The explanation can be simplified fairly easily, I'm very mentally ill. It's Got to Be My Destiny is just one of many, many projects that I've started and struggle to finish. Most things I let die a quiet death and silently place them in the back of my mind, never to be touched again.

I've decided that to do that to this story would be a terrible injustice and I do plan on returning to it as soon as I feel able. If I have the energy the story will also have a new cover picture and pictures inside the story itself! Illustrations are fun and I really want to draw what I imagine the characters look like, as they do deviate from the inspirational picture itself.

I want this story to be fun so much so that I think trying to write it while I'm in a deep depression would do it an injustice all on it's own. I want to sit down and write a story that presents characters that draw people in and make them smile. I might even tweak the first two chapters I'm not sure.

On that note: My other story, The Stars and the Moon, hasn't gotten quite the same reception. I think I executed my premise terribly and rushed the writing in an attempt to submit to Equestria Daily on time. As of right now I'm considering ripping the story down and replacing it with a far more thought out version, one with an AU tag of course because we all know what happens in the finale now.

So there you have it folks! Sorry for the delay, I'm starting up a few productive writing habits and if all goes as planned I might be able to return to it sooner than later. I hope everybody has had good holidays, and if you haven't, I hope things get better soon :).
