1 year of ponys

A year ago (give or take a few days) I accepted myself as a Brony and that ponys were my favrioute things ever. my little pony is my favrioute show of all time the only other show that I might have enjoyed as much as mlp whould be teen titans (I hate teen titans Go. To me that is not cannon and is just how much they can dick around with it until people stop watching) teen titans Is second on my list of fav shows. But how did I become a Brony you might ask well that story starts with story's.

1 year ago....

A boy is laying on his bed with his Mac book going through his account on fanfiction.com to see if any story's he's following has updated he had already read a mine craft story today he usually went though 3 story's a day or maybe even more or less depending on how he is feeling or the story is engaging and long.

He liked to read story's of things he knew about and he knew Of quite a lot mine craft, portal, and many others he knew the story off and read the things that people did changed and added to the story's. He liked the flexibility that the world of mine craft gave to its fan fiction writers. He enjoyed the changes made to portals story like a what if this happened and what if we added this?

He was happy but unfortunately he was a very fast reader when he gets engaged. He had been reading fan fiction for over a year now and he had not been able to go a week without reading. So he was reading faster then they where being made and it suddenly shown that day. No story's updated no new story's that looked like they whould be finished or worth the time to read nothing. He was stumped he had no idea what to do...should he wait for the updates....should he write his own story?......or perhaps he should check some other things he had not looked into before. He decided on the last one so he went to browse and went to games he had no luck finding anything he was interested in. Next he went to cartoons what he saw confused him my little pony had 24k story's.

That was a very large amount of story's. The boy had of corse heard of my little pony before he just did not care for it to much he knew the main characters name was twilight sparkle and his cousin had an old generation 3 toy. He also knew of a large fan base but he did not think any less of them he thought people can like what ever they want to like as long as they don't shove it in my face. So he did something which whould make him very happy the next coming year. He clicked it and he was shown a list and he went through it searching for something interesting he eventually found it and read it....and he dint think much of it. So after reading it he moved onto the next one of interest a story called unexpected turn of events. he loved that story he even still reads it to this day.

This story kicked off a wildfire of reading mlp all other story's were forgotten in his need for pone he kept it a secret thou that still only 5 people he knows in real life know that he reads and loves my little pony. He knew several things before he even watched the show changelings, discord and Alicorn twilight he read a great deal of story's including bride of discord and its sequels. And emerald mgleaner:the viral unicorn (always loved the possibilitys a prototype story gives the writer and the writer of emerald gleaner story's has my love)

Two weeks after he first started reading my little pony he decides to listen to music but he's gotten tired of the songs on his computer so to lazy to look up my little pony music he goes on YouTube and searches for "top 10 mlp fan made songs" so I put one of the videos on and the first song is a song that made him realise I am a Brony and there's no use denying it because I'm happy about it.

The songs name was "join the herd" a funny yet happy way to join the fandom and he will always be happy to sing it because enjoys the song its a song about joining the fandom. 1 week later he sets up an account on fimfiction and has over 400 story's in his read it later library. And he will forever be a Brony for like a line in the song "we will never fade"

So here I am a year later sitting on my bed writing this thinking about the story's I've read the friends I've made and how this fandom helped me curb stomp my dwindling depression. I sit here reflecting on the past and say "what a year and there's still more to come next year"
