Alright, so I love Sunset Shimmer. She's so cool and there's a lot of stuff you can do with her. I love her tough girl design (though I missed her old jacket during Friendship Games), I love her hair, and I especially love her voice. She has this sort of smarmy, villainous tone, even when she changes her ways. This Sunny love is nothing new for me, which makes it weird that I haven't done any stories that featured her as the main character. I thought about doing a redemption story, but those are a dime a dozen. Then, I thought about doing a pre-banishment story, but that got put to the side (it might happen, it might not). I have a RWBY crossover planned, and Sunny is one of the main characters, but she shares the limelight with three others. I even briefly considered making my first published clopfic involve Sunset. However, I've since realized that my Sunset story should be as fun and cute as Sunny herself. So, I decided it'd be a shipfic, not unlike Love Beats Stupid. Now, I had a problem where I couldn't decide who to ship her with, and then I realized that the only obvious choice is Twilight.
Here's my real problem.
I like Twilight a lot. If it weren't for my falling in love with Fluttershy, she'd be right there on number one. That said, I also really like Sci-Twi. Her hair, those glasses, her super-nervousness as compared to Twilight's kinda-nervousness. I couldn't decide which one Sunset would fall for. I was going to flip a coin and let fate decide this.
Then, I read a clopfic (which shall remain nameless) in which Sunset got to have both.
My question in this is: Would that work for my shipfic? Would you guys find it weird if I did a sort of "ménage à trois" shipfic? To clarify, there will be no sex beyond the occasional PG-13 joke. It's just a matter of what if Sunset fell in love with the Twilights, and they fell in love with her, and Sunset managed to convince them to share? I think it would be interesting, not to mention downright hilarious. I want to do this, but if you guys find that too weird, I might choose a Twilight and be done with it. I probably won't get to work on it until at least A̶r̶t̶i̶f̶i̶c̶i̶a̶l̶ Intelligence is finished, but I'd like to know your thoughts now.
So, what do you think? Would that be a bad move or a stunning success? A SunLight story is happening, regardless, I just wanna know how much Light there's gonna be (Plus, there's the possibility of Earth's native Sunset, so maybe a ménage de quatre situation, or whatever that would be with four in French). I wouldn't want to do something that freaks out the people reading it, but I still want to try new things. So, tell me how you feel about it, and, depending on public opinion, I may or may not unveil "The Sun and Two Twilights" or some similarly stupidly-named shipfic.

3635454 Geez, is that the only image of that nature ever drawn ever? I was intending to use it for the story, then I saw another story with that image, and then I click that link and it's the same image! What black magic is this?!
Thanks, I really just needed some sort of reassurance. In a couple of months, my next stupid shipfic will probably begin production.
