New Story

So, by now many of you have noticed that I did, in fact, write something new... finally. I had been discussing it with Naturalbornderpy a little over a week ago. I was busily trying to get everything ready for Christmas and I was feeling pretty happy, looking forward to watching my friends be surprised by what I had gotten them.
See, I haven't had any living family for a long, long, time. Every year my friends would always invite me to join them for THEIR family gatherings. Now don't get me wrong, I usually enjoy going, but I always feel this little pain deep inside. That little part of me that will always miss my mom and dad. Some years I just stay home alone, lost in my memories, most years though I gratefully accept the generosity of my friends. They ARE my family now. So I was talking with NBD about redemption, and wonder, and other C-mas stuff, and how I had this idea for a story, but wasn't sure if anyone would get it. He thought it was a great idea, and I sent him the first two chapters. After reading them he was very encouraging, and told me I should release a chapter a day until Christmas. Which is what I'm doing.
Up until now, I had been very leery of writing anything new because I was afraid of it being as poorly received as my last story. But this story is different. Much like my first few stories, I don't fear it being disapproved of, I wrote it because that was the story that I wanted to write. Whether anyone else likes it or not, I'm happy with it, and at the end of the day that is enough for me.
Hopefully you will give it a look, and hopefully you will be able to see it the way I did, as I wrote it.

P.S. Naturalbornderpy was considering writing a Sombra chapter for it. Bug him to death until he does! Nobody writes Sombra like he does!
