Just a reminder, Secrets of a Royal Guard will complete on Monday of next week. Once it has done so I will be on publishing hiatus until 2016. I want to thank you all for your support, comments, and readership in 2015. It has been an amazing year.
2016 will start with the launch of "Sunny's Days." This story will focus on everyone's favorite sun related pony. It begins in the past prior to Memoirs and potentially even Wishes. We'll see Sunny grow up a bit, become an adult, and find her way in the world. Then we'll cut to her becoming the House Guard commander for Princess Celestia and follow that a bit. Finally, we'll see her perspective during the third "of a Royal Guard" story.
I'll also be starting that third "of a Royal Guard" in January as well. The first arc is already outlined quite extensively and has been growing each day since I finished Secrets.
Thank you all again for being my readers, fans, supporters, commentators, and familiar names that make me smile. I hope each and every one of you has a very positive holiday season and a profitable new year.

Anzel, in Memoirs you stated that there is a reason Cadance is a unicorn instead of an alicorn. Is this due to the whole one alicorn of the day and one alicorn of the knight plot point?(I'm assuming it is, just checking for posterity). Suddenly I have a sad about Ferrel. Never saw her mother again? Not even to visit? That is rough. It makes me wonder why. Was Ferrel's mother scared of her daughter, or her gift? Did she worry about what other ponies might think of said gift? Something else?
Also, why do I suspect Runic's magical luck has rubbed off on Miley whenever they're together? And why do I not fully believe him?
