“Why not?” you ask? Because it doesn’t have this!
Glorious, isn’t it? And better still: it’s done.
Or, halfway, at least. As of yesterday evening (December 16), I’ve just ordered a test-print of volume two of Winning Pony, which is going to take another week or two to print, ship, and check. The running estimate of $70 (USD) per person is in play, but once again, we won’t know for certain until we have a concrete number of orders. Due to the cost of international shipping, we’ll be ordering and shipping out both books together, so everyone is only going to have to pay once.
So, here’s how this is going to work: $70 USD is still a fair chunk of change, so from now until the new year, start saving if you haven’t already done so. That way, nobody has to worry about missing the ordering window due to the holiday, and it gives you time to set up a Paypal account if you don’t have one, because Paypal is the only way we’re going to be able to make this work.
In the meantime, everyone to mark their calendars for the first week of January. Barring the unforseen, that’s when we’ll start taking orders.
I'm good either way, just let me know when I can and how I can order the bloody things from you.

Now, I have no idea when (if I would) I would order any volumes of this, but since you asked for our two cents, I think spacing things out is probably a safe bet. I have no idea of course what business you're going through to get these printed so have no idea what arrangements you have, but I do think that's the way to go. Congrats on seeing a print edition become a reality, that's quite an accomplishment guys, and something only a handful of fanfiction authors achieve!

Personally, I think I'd prefer both at once, but am flexible.
Making both options available is probably your best bet, that way folks who are short can space it out, and those folks who have the funds right now can, well, get it right now.
I don't really care, as I have a little bit of disposable income, just so long as I can put my name on an list to order these books, whether there's one being made now, or if you haven't gotten to that part yet.
Any of the above works for me.

Question: will these be a limited time only offer? I would definitely order one, but am at this point in time unable to pay for it. I would, however, be able to do so by the end of July. Which is more than six months from the first orders, so I'm not getting my hopes up.
I suppose i could ask somebody else to order one for me and reimburse them after.
I'm good with getting them all in one go, but to be on the safe side, probably ought to space out the releases.

70 bucks for both? Decent change, but not ridiculous for two hardback books. Still going to be a bit tricky fitting that into the budget.
...totally worth that effort though. I'm hopefully I'll be one of the lucky people ordering in a few weeks.
