Every Page a Painting - Walls of Words

Yup, hello, it's me, back on my typesetting binge again, with another "Every Page a Painting" to show you. And boy oh boy, do I have a real treat for you this time around: one of my favorite novels on this site, one that hasn't been typeset before. . . well, until now, of course.

Every Page a Painting - By Any Other Name

First of March, it's clear to me
    There's something that's uncomforting. . .

Here I am again, about a fortnight after the first "Every Page a Painting", locked and loaded with a second one, whether you wanted it or not. Enjoy.

Every Page a Painting - Click, Clack, Neigh

I know, I know, it's quite bold of me to publish this on Valentine's Day of all days, but here it is all the same.

If you don't like the timing, just come back tomorrow. I'll wait.

If you're still here and you don't care about when you'd get this, all I can say is buckle up.

(Disclaimer: everything you see here is work in progress and subject to change.)

Ah yes, my hundredth blogpost on Fimfiction.

I know I should try to find one single topic to spend it on, but I've got several going through my head and only one milestone to do it in, so. . . what the hell, I'll just talk about all of them.

Buckle up; this is a certified Anthology Blogpost.โ„ข

This is Beyond Orwellian · 2:02am Dec 17th, 2015

I finished watching a video by Extra Credits. It's about a so-called "game" that's being released by the Chinese communist regime as a means of competitive civil obedience.

The very nature of it is something that would make George Orwell shake in his boots. Click "Read More" to watch.

Suppose you had a score on your Fimfiction account, similar to what's detailed in the video. For each upvote you get, you get more points. But for each downvote you get, you lose points. And upvotes can come from anywhere-- site posts, stories, you name it. I imagine there would be a follower multiplier as well-- the more followers you have, the more points your score will have.

If you follow, comment to, PM, or otherwise interact with someone with a low score, your score will be penalized. The same goes for everyone else-- they'll unfollow you to avoid jeopardizing their own scores. And once you hit rock bottom, it's really hard to climb back up.

I imagine that Knighty would want users to frequent his site, so he could probably "tax" points so people would keep coming back to maintain their scores.

And if the system's voluntary, then Knighty could increase the pressure for users to sign up by penalizing user's scores if they associate with users that haven't opted in.

Shit, I'm giving him ideas, aren't I? Damn. Well, I hope that never happens-- voluntary or otherwise.

Good night, and good luck.

That is pretty creepy. But I've seen similar things here as well. I could get into some conspiracy theory stuff but...naw. Anyway, cool video. Thank you for the share.

I could get into some conspiracy theory stuff

You mean to tell me we HAVEN'T landed on the moon!?

3623354 No, I am talking more about the real stuff going on. Like a recent case of a girl and boy who escaped a cult and talked about all sorts of weird things that go on there. And the creepy thing is that all levels of government are involved in this cult (they have proved this) yet know one will do anything about it b/c they don't want to deal with the powerful forces covering it up. Some creepy shiz, and true.

covering it up

You see something creepy like that, you don't cover that shit up. EVER.

3623377 There's some interesting documentaries about this. One of which is this. It is known as ritual abuse and many kids have gone through it. Although a lot of ritual abuse usually gets attached to terms like 'Satanism' which in itself isn't always bad or have anything to do with the phenomenon. But a lot of news people and reporters often throw around that term without being very informed.

So...Twitter, basically?

I feel bad for those people living in China๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜“๐Ÿ˜ญ. I am so embarrassed by this fuckery going on! We should sue China because they could have created COVID-19!
