    incredibly sick

haven't been able to hit the computer much the past month. Got sick on labor day weekend, ended up with a bad case of pneumonia deep in my lungs. Despite it, I've been forcing myself to go to work overtime because... well, bills need to be paid.

I haven't disappeared, but I'm healing. be back soon, promise.

    Child rearing is oftentimes unpredictable.

TLA has only been delayed as I cannot access my files from where I am or when I'm home because of small children. Not mine, yet I suppose, but the little ones take a lot of time and attention and love. And food. So much food. My nieces are garbage disposals.

That was an Adventure through the Comics. TLA incoming.

Hey folks, just finished up a grand majority of the comics, and there was only one big plot point that rubbed up super hard against the story, so once I swap it out it'll be fine. I'll even drop off exactly what it was in the authors notes when it comes up and is no longer relavant to keep from you. Lucky me the plot didn't hinge on it(anymore- it was something important before but I minimized it

    Dude, where's my blogpost?

I made a blogpost on Friday talking about delaying the chapter a week while I catch up on pony lore in the comics, mainly because there's three things I want to do and I straight up don't want to do something that clashes entirely with what's going on with the characters.

Today I found a stash of old, unrelased fics. · 7:31pm Dec 14th, 2015

Only one of them was any sort of uploadable, and over five other ones were started, but I've no memory of them or their plot, so they're just words on a screen. Amusing, I guess, some jokes here and there, but for the most part they're nowhere near a state where I can feasibly finish and upload them.

One of them was for Tales from the Staff Canteen, the Fic in which the EqD pre-readers made fanfics of themselves reviewing fanfiction. This one dealt with Twilight Snarkle and I wish I knew where it was going because it seemed promising.

But possibly the best one I found was a continuation of sorts from both my Conversion Bureau tale, A Mare's Tail AS WELL AS Friendship is Rubbish, which is a Top Gear-in-Equestria fic. So on one hand we have a niche community of fics dedicated to humans becoming ponies because whynotwishfulfullment(hey, this community has spawned HOW MANY clones of ROBCakeran's fic, My Little Dashie?), and the other one being tongue-in-cheek recreation of a no-longer-on-the-air BBC TV show of three aging brits talking about cars.

Obviously there's room for crossover there, right?

So I am so very tickled by the idea that I was once attempting to create a Conversion Bureau tale about the three hosts of Top Gear dealing with a Conversion Bureau opening up in London, the fact ponies have yet to be able to drive, and of course, one or all of them becoming ponies.

I cannot stop laughing.

Cleaning up old google docs?

Sort of? I never left so much as silently observed for the past... two... years...

It's a day off with nothing planned, I had no idea what to do with myself.

3618077 No, I hear you. I did the exact same thing myself and found a couple of google docs that I have no idea what I was doing back then, except that presumably, they had a purpose at one point. It's an interesting thing, isn't it? How you leave something for later and then... blank.

3618101 Yeah, that's the case for two of them, but I know the case for some others was to just get some words out of my head. I have a vague memory now of me writing them to see if they took me anywhere and I just... couldn't? It was less of a 'save it for later' and more of a 'if something comes, let it, otherwise, let it die now that it's out of me'.
