Okay, so, 2015 was a pretty seat-of-pants visit to Bronycon Baltimore. It worked out all right, but there were opportunities I missed out on simply because I didn't (a) plan far enough ahead and (b) inform other people far enough ahead of time what my plans were. So, for the sake of the interested—whatever that means—I am officially moving from "tentative planning" to "hotel booking" levels of certainty. Make of this what you will! Note that it's been bumped up a few months and is now taking place July 8-10.

I'm pretty pleased about the timing change. Early August puts it right up against the start of the school year and that makes it slightly challenging to schedule time off for me, but holding it in July more or less makes it a summer vacation.

I hope to be on one! I doubt I have to organizational chops to organize or moderate, but if anyone reading this wants my voice in something I definitely wouldn't say no. Unless it was a terrible panel, like "Jerk Fanfic Authors You Should Feel Free to Spit On." Man, who would wanna be on that panel?

However. If it weren't a rhetorical question, we would need to find authors who would take perverse satisfaction at being on such a panel, by dint of feisty masochism. Alternately, it could just be someone willing to go through ridiculous lengths just to get a free badge. For this later category, I nominate Estee, who has been so screwed over by the promotional people at Coca-Cola that being spit on might come as a welcome relief and a good value for the relative humiliations endured. Also he is Pony Hitler and killed a piano once.

Our daughter will be ~4.5 months at that point. I'm a bit unsure about flying cross-country with her. I wish they hadn't bumped it up.
We need to panel again!
I now have some Baltimore plans to consider, in case I wasn't considering them hard enough.
