So, I finished and submitted the sequel to Love Beats Stupid, titled Love Conquers Stupid. It should be up a bit later. Now would be the time for me to explain the general direction of this story, as opposed to the last one.
This story will be about the Sirens "growing up". Despite being thousands of years old, they strike me as kinda childish and immature. This story will show them growing and settling into their new lives. Jobs to careers to retirement, from their apartment to a proper house, from three teens to three women. I don't mean that they won't do dumb, teen things like adopting reindeer, cause they will. Their idiocy will just be of a different brand.
Thanks for everyone who read and enjoyed the original, and I hope to see you stick around for the sequel. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
squee and excitement! I do so hope for stupid things to come, you write it so well. They totally are childish, but you started adding a lot of depth to them in LBS and I'm looking forward to what may end up happening. Esp if there's a wedding involved!
