I created an RPG forum where people can run their pony RPGs off of (as well as other types of games) but no one ever uses it.
Well I do recently have some close friends interested in posting to my RPG forum because we are going to start playing a bat pony RPG and are going to use the forum to host it. But no one else wants to use it.
I also made a promotion forum where people can promote whatever they like and even make their own gallery space but no one ever uses it either.
My promotion forum is a great place to know about because you can promote whatever you like and having more links that direct people back to stuff makes it visible in the search bar. But no one wants to use it even though it is helpful.
This makes me feel sad on the inside. I crie everytim.

A pony RPG does sound interesting. However, I had a bad experience with forum ran RPGs.
Back when I was really into Avatar (the James Cameron directed movie), I frequented an Avatar fansite a couple of years back. On that site there was a group of people who started up some RPG threads and I jumped into it because it looked interesting. They were fine at first, but then they began devolving into disagreements and arguments about various issues surrounding the respective threads. The main issues were either no one could come to an agreement on what direction the story should go in, or some people wanting to bend the rules to benefit their character. Eventually it snowballed to the point where I just said "Okay, I'm done."
I tried to get back into it at another Avatar fansite in 2013, but there just wasn't that much interest in it.
The only way I would do a forum RPG again is if the people participating wanted to do it properly and not wanting to bend the rules to suit a specific character or take the story in a direction only one person wants to go in.
3599890 Well the group of people that I have gathered for the bat pony RPG are all very nice and trustworthy. :) I am still making all of the sections on the pony gaming board but you are welcome to join in once we start up the game. Or you could even run your own game with your own friends in one of the other sections if you like. My RP forum site is an open resource for everyone to use for their own role playing games or join in on other role playing games. :) Feel free to use it as you please.

I don't think I'll start my own because I don't really know many people who would be interested in it or have the time to put into it.
