Forget Finals. I've Got Fiction! · 2:21am Dec 7th, 2015
I should be working on my finals right now, but procrastination's more fun. Here's a completely random blog post thrown out into the void for anyone who happens to pass by.
For the last seven months I've had a big fat pile of nothing to show for Bloodborne: Oligemia. No story updates, no middle to my story arc and not even a rough idea of where I want to go in the next chapter. The good news is that all that is going to change soon because I've had a breakthrough on the latter. I've had two different ideas on how to continue Oligemia in Chapter 4, but I couldn't decide which to choose, or come up with a definite ending to either one. Then, on the train ride to class on my final day of school I blew my own mind... twice (ok, only once, but since we all love gratuitous pony references I'm gonna leave that one in there). While daydreaming in my seat I discovered that putting both ideas together gave me the material I needed for a complete story line for chapter 4, and part of 5—and I nearly missed my stop as a result. Sorry I can't say more because I don't want to spoil anything, but just know that the next chapter will almost definitely, with 99.9% probability, be coming out this holiday season.
I've spoken long enough though, and I've got to get back to work on my finals now so I won't fail and my parents won't kill me, because being dead (or restricted from using the computer) would make it very hard to keep writing. Anyways, to whomever is reading this, I wish you luck if you're in school right now like me, all the best if you've got a job and a general happy holidays to the people who fall into neither of those categories.
Go, study.
I await the results, however.
