I think the reason I found this trailer better is, because, in a way I find rather hard to put into proper words, it feels more 'honest' then the previous trailer, which made the film out to be some dark, brooding affair obsessed with it's own self importance.
This second trailer on the otherhand, finally clears up exactly how Lex Luthor will act (still don't think that Eisenberg was a good choice, but at least I have a grasp at what they're going for with Luthor), and that we finally having a damned excuse for Batman and Superman to be smashing each other up.
In many ways, this trailer reminds me of those quintesental, cheesy monster flicks from the 60s and 70s. You know, stuff like Mothra vs. Godzilla or King Kong vs. Godzilla. AKA a dumb, ever so goofy movie where two icons of the genre (King Kong and Godzilla for monsters, Superman and Batman for superheroes) beat each other up for about two hours, before teaming up against a larger threat and teaming up at the end or something.
It also helps that the dosage of humor here is such a relief from the borderline depressing first trailer, which made it feel like all happiness had been banned. At least here people smile and crack jokes.
So while I'm still unlikely to like the film, at least now I'm not filled with rage at it's existence. Now it kinda amuses me in a cheesy way....

am i the only one who thinks they revealed too much, revealing Doomsday as the reason Bat and Sups stop fighting and start working together? they could've kept that secret, ending the trailer only on the roar. well, i guess they can give Aquaman and Cyborg a secret until the movie is released.
on that note, what are those bug monsters?
3589022 No idea about the bug monsters, but I'd rather finally know what the heck is going on then have more pretentious secret keeping that just irks me.
