Re-tag?

I started writing this under the old tag system. I don't put too much stock in tags but some people do. So I'll ask you all: Are there any of the new tags you think I should apply to the story?

3583077 It might fit. The thing is while Scootaloo is kind of "emo" in it, I wouldn't say she's trying to cause drama. There is drama though.

I recommend not only making sure your tags on this story are up to date and complete, but that you go back and consider the new tags for all of your work. The reason is simple: searching. Many people use their favorite genres when searching for stories using the site's search function. Making sure your stories have all the appropriate tags helps more people to find them.

As for the tags on the current story, I think it might actually make sense to replace the Sad tag with the Drama tag. I don't feel that this is a particularly sad story, as there's a lot of optimism in it. I often skip stories with the sad tag, and I'd be surprised if I was alone in that.

I agree with the sad to be replaced with drama. I also look at the tags when determining whether or not to read a paticular story. I avoid the Tragic tagged stories like the plague. I really do not like being pissed off and sad for a couple of days after reading a well written story but that has a tragic end.

As others say, I would either replace the Sad tag with Drama, or have both. They really aren't interchangable, as happy stories can also be dramas; a story that focuses on the interactions and relationships between characters and on their own stories fits the Drama tag.

Not a big fan of the new system honestly. Too many choices. The old one was short sweet and to the point. The new ones feel like pading more than anything else.
