Dad's in the hospital again... · 10:48pm Nov 30th, 2015
My father is in the hospital again. He's sedated and on a breathing machine. This morning he was sent there after doctors, examining him for breathing issues, found out he had 'a pneumonia.'
A pneumonia.
There's more than one?
God help us...
From personnal experience (seven pneumonias, two being "double" and one being resistente to medicine), yes, there are several types of pneumonias. Some are caused by bacterya, other by virus, some are simple (just one of the lungs is affected), some are double (booth lungs). Some are easy to cure, other are resistent to the antibyotics...
Actually, pneumonia is not a disease by itself, it´s a condition. Something is causing the lung tissue to being....errr, sorry, not sure the right word is, not a native english speaker. Infected ? Anyway, the lung tissue is affected, the lung does not work well, start to leak fluids trying to protect itself (wich don´t work, only make things worse) and weaken the body.
Yes, I had 7 of those lovely ladies. Asmha. Mostly during my childhood. Ah, the memories....being in a oxygen tent at 7 seven years...
Edit: Sorry, being an asshole here complaining ´bout myself. I wish the best recovery for your father. May God be with you all and your family.
Jeez, are you certain Slendy's not out for you?

From what I remember, there are actually a couple types of Pneumonia. The only difference being what part of it is the most prominent.
I hope he gets better soon.
