    Watch (This) Space

    Hello everyone!

I've been gone on hiatus for a few years. I stopped watching My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic in the middle of the seventh season. But a few months ago, my interest was rekindled. And the last two seasons were fantastic. The high point, for me, is the new characters -- the Student Six -- who breathed fresh life into the show.

Today is a day to step back, look at our lives, and give thanks for all the wonderful things we have. Even those of us who do not have much, and who struggle every day just to get by, have much to be thankful for. Even if it is just being able to wake up each day and be alive.

For most of us, we have much more. We have family, or friends who are as close to us as family. We have friendships. If you are reading this, you have a computer or a phone, and access to the vast world of the internet. You have a huge community -- the brony fandom -- which you can be part of, a community whose core (no matter how huge it has grown) is still founded on friendship, tolerance and wholesome virtues. You have food (whether it is a great family dinner or just a bowl of ramen) to eat and a place to sleep. And you have today.

Bronies in the United States are celebrating Thanksgiving, a national holiday that is supposed to be focused on recognizing all we have and being thankful for it. While I have less gracious opinions about the holiday's origins and current role, I wholeheartedly agree with the broader sentiment. As I have said before, I believe it is important to exercise giving thanks; and it is not something to be confined to a single date on the calendar, but something to be practiced regularly.

So let us take time to recognize and remember what we have, and how blessed we are, and to say "thank you". And let this also be a time to remember those who are less fortunate than we are. And to show some extra generosity.

I personally have more than ever to be thankful for. I have been blessed here at home, and in the broader brony community, and the Fallout: Equestria fandom in particular. I want to say thank you to all of my fans and all of my readers.

I want to say thank you to my... holy turkey, over 4000 followers! :pinkiegasp: Thank you for your support and your friendship. Thank you for letting me know that what I write and what I do is worth your time, and that I can make your lives a little more enjoyable. Thank you for the 7000+ upvotes on Fallout: Equestria, and your extremely positive reception of "Origin Story". Thank you for being there, and being the wonderful people you are.

My life is rich. And it is time again to say "thank you!" Furthermore, I want to take this time to encourage you to take an extra moment to give thanks for those things that enrich your life. So please, tell me what you are thankful for.

Every year, I post the following as part of my Thanksgiving blog, and I want to re-iterate it again:

Thank you for enjoying my story and choosing to follow me. Thank you for all the wonderful comments and favorites. But more, thank you for being inspired and motivated, giving back to all of us with your talents and your time. Thank you for your videos and your animation projects; thank you for your art and music and stories and so much more.

But most of all, thank you for your kindness, and your friendship to others. Thank you for being some of the very best people within the brony fandom. You elevate it.

Now go have a great day.

Thank you, and have a great Thanksgiving.:pinkiehappy:

Well said! I have the sincerest hopes that you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Have a happy Turkey Day.

Happy Thanksgiving, Kkat. Thank you for providing some incredible fiction.

(Also, that pilgrim Rarity is Carnifex's work.)

It is a shame that Thanksgiving has been overshadowed by Christmas and Black Friday, but all the same, it's still pretty significant. There are a lot of people who aren't as well off as me. I'm pretty thankful for what I've got.

Have a happy Thanksgiving

And thank you, KKat. I know for a fact I wouldn't have a story, as well as five possible stories in the work, for all to read if it wasn't for your inspiration. You have earned all the praise you have received as well as the four thousand plus followers. I hope you have a great day and thank you for continuing to write for your fans!

Have a good day Fallout Equestria fans!

Most of all. Thank you for being so kind, Kkat.

Have a terrific Thanksgiving everyone!:yay:

Hope you all get together with those closest to you and have a great day and many more. As for me.... Wellllll, I've got to cook a ham for today. I know. I know. We're saving the turkey for thanksgiving for Christmas when my sister comes over. So off to adventure!:rainbowdetermined2:

That being said, I'm very thankful for the life I'm living. It might not always be great, but it does have a few adventures to it and interesting people in it.

Happy Thanksgiving Kkat! Couldn't have posted a blog better than yours...

I suppose I am still grateful for Fallout: Equestria as it brought me out as a public Brony... (Yes that is correct, you exposed me!) as well as inspired me two start writing my own fan fics!

Have a truly happy Thanksgiving.
We are all way more blessed than we ever realize, and it is refreshing to see those who recognize just how blessed we are.

And terrific Thanksgiving to all of you from me
(that may not mean much, but...its there, ya know?) :twilightsheepish:

Happy thanksgiving everyone, I really am happy to be part of the Fo:e fandom and the mlp fandom of bronies and even though we don't really celebrate thanksgiving here in Denmark, I want to tell you all how thankful I am for finding this fandom and how thankful I am for the friendships I've made on this site.

And of course (coz' I can't forget) how thankful I am of getting to read the lovely story of Littlepip and Fallout: Equestria by Kkat

Happy thanksgiving Kkat! Whoooo!
Happy turkey day to the lot of ya! :yay:

I'm thankful for the awesome fnadom, I'm thankful for everything I'm a part of, and I'm thankful that I'm finally working now. (Even if it does mean I'm gonna be away 3-11 today :applecry: I'm just glad I'm finally doing anything.)

Really, I'm just an overall happy guy.

Thank you for writing my literal third favorite fantasy novel after the LotR and the Dark Tower. And for being my gateway to pony fanfic. ^.^

Happy Turkey Day to all! I want to thank you Kkat for writing the wonderful story of Fallout: Equestria. It is the story that got me into the wonderful world of fanfiction. May your Thanksgiving be the best it can be.

To Kkat:

I'm glad your Thanksgiving has been wonderful this year. That includes everyone else who had a wonderful Thanksgiving tradition in the year 2015, especially with friends and families alike.

For me, however, was the worst Thanksgiving experience for the first time. I tried to convince my parents to buy a fresh turkey to cook up with stuffings inside as to keep the tradition, yet they, along with other family members, refused, stating that they wanted to "take a break" from their Thanksgiving tradition, which seems like a shady excuse to break the Thanksgiving tradition. Instead, me and the others were taken to a restaurant that had ridiculously high prices, and guess what?

I had NO turkey for dinner, which hurt me on the inside. Very much yet I didn't want to cry. Not in public or right in front of my family members anyway because then I'd be accused of pulling a publicity stunt when its obvious they broke the #1 rule of Thanksgiving, and that's not serving turkey. At ALL. I just felt heartbroken for their unwise decisions.

And to add insult to injury, I ended up injuring myself as a result of a faulty soap dispenser that took a small chunk of the flesh that further breaks the Thanksgiving tradition. I'm not sure what my family were thinking when they decided to break the tradition by going out in a restaurant that consists of having NO holiday tradition whatsoever. Without turkey, its not traditional. And without Thanksgiving, I'm just left heartbroken deep inside. If there's one thing I'm thankful for, is that I'm glad I wasn't burst into tears when my family members made a foolish decision of disregarding such a wonderful holiday tradition, and I am severely disappointed at that. I hope by next year they don't make the same mistake or I'll be wishing that they'll start to regret everything, but then it'll be too late to fix everything. Call it a fantasy as you like, but its the harsh reality from my experience just now.

I apologize if this ever happened, but I'm wishing that my family should start going back to traditional roots instead of ignoring it altogether. Its just downright unacceptable...

hi hi

I would like to thank everyone who chooses to take the hard road. When all around the world seems to extol taking, excluding, and consuming as virtues, thank you everyone who gives generously, welcomes others, and works to renew what is worn down and worn out. When the world seems like a cold and uncaring place, thank you everyone who has worked to lift people up when it would be easier to turn away. Although I can never hope to repay it, thank you for your kindness. :yay:

Happy Thanksgiving!

Gobble gobble..
..and on that day Turkeykind received a grim reminder. :pinkiecrazy:

Happy thanksgiving Kkat

I would like to thank my friends, my family and this amazing fandom. Or just thank everything, that works too. :pinkiehappy:
Also happy thanksgiving everyone.
