It's Coming, For Realzies

Even being attached to a story, since it's nine months past, I have no idea how many people will see this post, but I have to say it.

My POV-flip of "Sunset Shimmer Buys A Burrito", "Sonata Dusk Eats A Burrito" is completed and has been submitted for publication on the site. I don't know when it'll go live – "Yip!" took three days, but "Highs And Lows" only took seven hours. Ideally, I won't have to wait too long. We shall see.

Part of me wonders if, since Thursday is a major holiday in the States (thus many people not being around to read and possibly few mods either), I should have waited until a more opportune time to post, like Sunday – statistically the best time to post a fic – but by then the site will be overwhelmed with all the post-S5 fics about Starlight Glimmer. So I didn't really have much choice.

I apologize for not getting Sonata's story finished sooner. This one was tough. Whether I do my standard Author's Notes blogpost is up in the air, since there's not really a whole lot of insight I can add. Sonata is not a deep character. I know other better writers have said this before, but it's much easier to write an intelligent character like Sunset than it is a… not-bright character like Sonata. But I tried my best. It remains to be seen if it works out.
