Attempting to draw Cerberus (not the dog)

Eh, it could've been better. It's only a sketch though. LOOK AT THAT RED ARMOR AND THAT slightly cut off cyber-snake... Dammit. My camera skills have failed me.

I know some of you are wondering why I drew him. (It ain't because of for fun. Well, kind of) I drew him for a project in digital art! We were tasked with creating an original character (Actually we were tasked to create two and pick one) and making them into cartoons. We used Illustrator. It's a 100 point project so I'd be damned if Cerberus isn't a 100 point piece of artwork.

I actually finished the project today. And tbh, I think the sketch was way better than the final product mainly because of that shadow below him. The shadows and highlights for this project were frustrating.

Thing is, this image is so small you can barely see the detail on him. But that big ass Mothership from BO3 looks FANTASTIC. The background makes him look like he's standing on air though... GOD I should have done a forest background. Don't even attempt to zoom in. It's just gonna be blurry.

Anyways, what do you guys think of it? Is there anything I can do to improve my future drawings? Plz tell me D:

Time it took to finish: 7 class periods = 45 minutes × 7 = 315 minutes = 5 hours and 15 minutes

I hope that math is correct. I'm too lazy to check with a calculator.

Now if only I could figure out how to start drawing the other OCs...
