A Rumble Adventure Project On Which I Have Been Working · 4:04pm Nov 25th, 2015
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,
So, I have been working on a rather large project for a while and I have finally completed the first draft of the outline. This outline consists of fifty-three chapters at the moment. It is a Rumble and Seabreeze adventure story.
Anyway, the basic plot and characters are as follows:
The Breezie King, Elder Tumblestone, senses a war with the Fur Bolg, a race of cat magicians, and sends Seabreeze to Equestria to find their champion. Seabreeze finds Rumble, who is currently preparing for the Ponyville talent show and is nervous about performing a song. Thanks to a series of events, Seabreeze believes Rumble is their champion who will fight the leader of the Fur Bolg. Seabreeze convinces Rumble to join him. Rumble is more than happy to avoid singing in front of everypony. Together, they venture into the world of Coltrioch.
While retrieving Rumble, however, the leader of the Fur Bolg, Emperor Cauldon Du Brough, douses the flames of the Barrows of Coltrioch and takes the Breezie Kingdom. In order to defeat Cauldon, Rumble must relight the flames of the Barrows of Coltrioch.
On their journey, Rumble and Seabreeze come across Hawthorn, a Bronich mage in the form of a willow ent whom the others make fun of for not knowing how to weep, Cornelius Corvus Corax III, a hippogriff with the head of a raven, Scarlette Starlight, a bucking bronco from the town of Steedenshire, and Ayn Ni Cymric, a Fur Bolg magician who learns of her empire’s treachery and vows to help fight it.
Together, the six must recreate the Torneachean Band: the Violon of Ariegeois, the Crwth of Aatir Anas, the Bodran of the Dulmenica, the Carnyx of Heihe, and the Tusculum Whistle of Hock Awe. In doing so, they will relight the flames of the Barrows of Coltrioch and restore Elder Tumblestone to the throne of Breezantheum. In order to defeat Couldon, however, Rumble must find his voice and sing the Breezantheum Ballad of Narym, releasing Couldon’s hold over the barrow.
The Isles of Coltrioch would be similar to the Celtic Isles, and would delve into multiple types of Celtic myths and legends.So what do you think? Could this be a story that would interest people? I don't know if there are really any major stories that focus on the world of the Breezies.
