Future Long Term Comic Projects

While I have a lot of projects comic wise that I'm currently working on such as Adapting To Night, Heartbeats, Eternal Darkness, and I Will Never Leave You (Yes I know its in Hiatus, but we plan on making it alive again soon), there are a lot of new projects that I have planned for in the future.

You might be wondering how is it I can plan for all these comics. Well, for one thing it's easier to write them then it is to draw them. That's why most of the credit for all the commissions and work that's done should go to the artist that drew them.

Anyway, let's continue about future projects. There are indeed a good many of them that I have planned. Some are in the works, others are in planning stages, and a few can't work yet either do to night finding a proper artist, money, or the artist I have intentions to do this with is just not ready to do it yet. I've decided to share with you my future plans of what to do in the MLP comic world and see what you think of them.

1. Fallen Dusk

Fallen Dusk is based on the PS4 game known as Until Dawn, where in that game a group of survivors must last all night in a horror filled enviroment. In Fallen Dusk, the Teenage characters of the CMC, Button Mash, Spike, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon. Rumble, Babs Seed, Snips, Snails, and Pipsqueak head back to the vacation spot where their friend Dinky Hooves died a year ago. However, a murderer, possibly the one that killed Dinky, is now chasing after them and the choices that the viewers make will decide who lives, who dies, and what happens with each new direction the comic takes. This is pretty much a choose your own adventure kind of story with each decision the majority of readers make decides the fate of the story, much like how Eternal Darkness is at the moment.

Conditions Required: I have a few artists in mind for this, and I need my Patron to increase as well before I'm ready to even commission it. But the primary reason? I need to plan this out. This is a huge task and I have to come up with every decision and way the comic can go based on the choices. I'm not making the choices and outcomes on the fly during the actual gaming session, I'm having them pre-planned before writing begins.

2. Why Am I Crying?

A comic version of my most successful fanfic on Fimfiction.net. For as long as any of the Cutie Mark Crusaders can remember, Diamond Tiara had always been the biggest bully they knew. But when that said bully dies in an accident, each of them starts to go through their own emotional experience from this sudden change in their lives. Each will learn more about themselves and about the pony who they all thought they knew before she is laid to rest. The story has already been completed, but I want to make it into a comic version.

Conditions Required: To be honest, I just need to find an artist who might be interested and whose style fits well with the story itself. This project is not on my highest list of priorities at the moment.

3. Time Fades, But Friendship Lives On

On his deathbed, Spike, now 1500 years old, recounts his life and the lives of all his friends from beginning to end. This is pretty much a tale of the lives of the mane six and those important to them from start to end, told in Spike's narration as he waits for his death. It's a story primary about life. All the good, bad, sad, and joy that comes with it.

Conditions Required: I already have an artist planned for this and he wants to do this story. I even have the outline all set up, the problem is just money. I currently do have a part time job but I'm still in training and I won't be getting paid until I finish it. Once that is all settled I can probably start working on this one.

4. Petals

After kidnapping Princess Luna, Queen Chrysalis challenges Princess Celestia and her forces into combat for one final battle. Princess Celestia finally slays the Queen, who dies with a smile on her face and is glad her death is by her own hooves. Realizing what has happened, Celestia cries and hugs Chrysalis and mourns her death. When asked why by Twilight, she learns a shocking revelation about her mentor's past. Meanwhile, during the war against Discord, the changelings have decided to join in the battle against the mad tyrant and Princess Celestia meets Princess Chrysalis for the first time. This is a story that is told in the present, and the past which shows how events lead to what they are now.

Conditions Required: The artist and scripts are all set, the problem is the artist is just busy. Once their schedule opens up, the comic will be written.

5. The Count of Monte Cristo

One of my favorite tales of all time. This is a pony version of The Count, but with some new ideas such as taking place in space in a steam punk world and new characters and plots to the overall story. For those of you who don't know the tale, the Count of Monte Cristo is about a man who is betrayed by his best friend and others and is thrown in jail over false accusations of treason while his entire life is taken from him. Upon escaping, he finds a vast and near limitless fortune and uses it to create a new identity for himself in order to get revenge on those that have stolen his life. A story of revenge, love, politics, scheming, and faith.

Conditions Required: Like with Petals, the artist and scripts are all set, but the artist is just busy. Expect this one sometime hopefully early next year in 2016

6. The Reaping Alicorn

During an adventure in a forgotten temple, Daring Do accidentally unleashed the Alicorn of Death known as Thanatos. Despite warning the princesses before her death, Equestria and it's allies are unprepared for a being that not only has mastered death magic, but is even older and more powerful then the two royal sisters themselves. Twilight and her friends must stop Thanatos' goal from killing all life upon the earth while dealing with loss after loss in their efforts to stop the seemingly unstoppable alicorn. This is my darkest story yet, and anybody can die.

Conditions Required: Finding a good artist, getting enough money on Patreon. 3/4ths of the story is already planned, I just need to get the last 1/4th.

7. From Your Best Friend

Twilight's old friends from Canterlot are being murdered one by one and Twilight has to figure out who is behind it. Is it one of her old friends? Or her new friends? And why does this murder keep calling Twilight "Her Best Friend?" Not only does she have to figure it out before she loses all her friends both old and new, but deal with these feelings for Moondancer she seems to be developing. Yes another murder story, but this one has a lot more mystery element to it.

Conditions Required: Artist found, scripts made, currently being made.

8. The Tale of the Dragon Prince

Over a course of a hundred years, Spike becomes the ruler and prince of Equestria. A story of adventure, growth, love, hardship, loss, and destiny. This is actually still in the planning stage, but the idea interest me.

Conditions Required: Still planning it, not ready to even consider going out yet.
