    My thoughts on Stellar Blade

Her ass is not fat enough. That is all.

    Ponies got much better asses.

MLP Gen5 Butts are too small

Seriously, they are. This is by far the most important issue, if they made their asses fatter it would improve viewership. If they made the ponies thicc prudes would complain, which would only draw in even more viewers. Twilight Sparkle, the protagonist of the series has a fat ass, and her teacher Princess Celestia, who's ass is even fatter.

    I don't like anthro

The main reason is uncanny valley. When something looks human but not quite. A perfect example would be a robot trying to mimic being human, it looks unsettling. It's somewhat insulting towards the ponies, you have Twilight Sparkle there a beautiful unicorn and you can't embrace her just because she's not fully in human shape, even though she has all the qualifications to be a sapient-minded

The attacks on anime are ridiculous

I am sorry about this blog, but anime as in japanese cartoons made in japan are under attack by western moral puritans, because it doesn't adhere to their moral standards. This strikes me as a very imperialistic mindset, not everyone has to adhere to our values.

I must write garbage since... · 5:05pm Nov 18th, 2015

I must write garbage since I've seen users on this site with less than five stories with plus one thousand followers. And I have 139 fan fictions with only 400 to 500 followers.

Don't worry. I shall continue to write my poorly written stories with terrible grammar nonetheless. Press onward I shall, even though my horse words are nowhere as known as those fancy plus 1000 follower club.

I don't think the stories you write are rubbish, I like them!

Thanks for your support.

i dont agree...i love your stories. They make me laugh so hard its a challenge to catch my breath lol. I care not how others see you on fimfiction...your writing and writing style are awsome

That's a very silly thing to say.
And it comes across a little bitterly too.

Your work is good. People like it. I have ZERO doubt that the comments here will continue to reflect that much. But more, YOU should know by now that people like your work. So what if some people are more popular than you? Many are less popular too, all that is just a number rather than a direct reflection of quality. You work hard, you give many very loyal readers a solid product, and people enjoy reading what you have to say. People genuinely like your stories and look forward to reading them.
If you don't know this yet, wise up. Because it's obvious to me, and I'd bet it's obvious to a lot of your other readers too.
If this comes across as harsh, my apologies. I just get angry when people who work hard and write well base their worth on that simple number above "followers".

yes...what the fella below me (anonpencil) says. plus, there's never anyone writes quite like you, so you'll always have a special place in your readers' hearts.

And in those fancy writers' defense though, you forgot to take word count into consideration... some guys out there only produce massive 100000+ words stories, you see. Naturally their followers accumulate so as to keep track with their long epic series.

Take the fight to them
Write more horse words than they have horse follows
Bring war to their horsestep doorstep

You're right. I should not really care about follower count. Chugged down four beers before making this blog, so maybe I wasn't thinking straight.

3550869

Yeah. Most of my stories are fairly short.

3550898

I'll do my best.

3550793

Yeah. I seem to be quite different than many a writer.

At 9AM?

Damn bro, you drink like I do.

3550928

It was about 6 PM in where I am in the world.

This is a bad place to write this sort of stuff because of self selection; pretty much the only people who will read it are people who follow you and who will be far more prepared to tell you how amazing you are. I'm a dude who randomly found that blog post you wrote the other day who doesn't read your stories. Making me a rare person who can actually tell you why and hopefully give you some useful feedback.

You mentioned the other day that you basically write the same story every single time. That is in fact one of the reasons why I don't read your stories, and I completely agree. The premise is (to a rough approximation) the same. The dialogue and jokes tend to be the same (and stilted at that). The OOC behaviour tends to be the same.

They're parodies (to be a bit generous with the term), but they're not written with a deft touch, with skill and insight. At best it feels like someone is trying far too hard to be funny. Those I've read, I hardly ever find humorous in the slightest. An insane or stupid premise doesn't preclude a story from being funny and entertaining if done well, but it's not. Yes, I'm only speaking for myself here with regards to their humour value, but I wouldn't be surprised if anyone shares my opinion.

Some absolute shit does somehow get inexplicably popular, but if they all tend to crash and burn, then that tells you something. It's not for a lack of exposure either, because I regularly see your stuff pop up; it just doesn't tend to stay there. On the flip side, good works that get almost no recognition are usually due to a lack of exposure.

3550932
Ah.

Well, perhaps you still do, I don't know. Either way, cheers to your health.

3550924 yea...but diffrent in a good way i assure you. Keep up the good work Bendy :D

3550936

Good points over all.

You think I have possibly gained infamy?

Your story descriptions are that of legends.

3550940

Speaking for myself, I would not say so. When I see your name pop up, I don't think to myself "it's that guy, avoid story at all costs". What I actually notice is the title and description which itself gives away that it's one of your stories. In of itself this isn't a bad thing though.

That's also another point I wanted to address: titles / story descriptions. I've always thought the story descriptions are a little like having a joke told to you all at once, punchline included, along with annotations explaining why the joke is supposed to be funny. The description is exactly what it says on the tin.

Contrast that to other weird stories which will have an outlandish premise, but usually will leave it to the reader to read and find out why this particular premise is so funny, and what the author has done to play with the concept.

Example story: What if I told you there was a changeling in the basement of Carousel Boutique?. A strange title that catches the eye. Great! The description adds to the effect. As someone who the author is trying to attract into reading the story, this has caught my attention. It makes me curious as to what the author has come up with. Why would Rarity ask this question? Why would she possibly keep a changeling in her basement? Why would she admit it if she does? What is Twilight's reaction to this? These are questions I am interested in reading to find out about.

What it doesn't say is something like this in the description Rarity trolls Twilight by 'hypothetically' suggesting she keeps a changeling in her basement, only to annoy Twilight by being somewhat evasive with her answers before revealing she does actually keep one in there for testing new fashions on. This (awful) alternative description doesn't result in much if any curiosity and spells out what is supposed to make the story funny to begin with, and would make the story far less effective. Even if the written quality of the story itself was otherwise identical (which is unlikely; good stories tend to have good descriptions. If someone ever says "I suck with descriptions" I refuse to read their story because why would I think they could do a good job).

Well, maybe instead of everything being cumming in ponies butts to save something, have more plots that are different, unique from your other stories.

3550957

They seem to be yes. I've made people laugh from the summary alone.

Maybe... no promises.
