So... It Rained Today. · 6:18pm Nov 17th, 2015
Ah, it's November. The peak of Fall. When all the leaves turn colors and start to fall from their boughs, and when we all gather around our tables to share feasts with our families.
Well apparently April didn't get the memo. Because we just got hit with a huge storm thanks to the El Niño blowing through. Turns out that the end of Autumn is a good time to go for a swim too!
Greetings from Rolla, Missouri!
We have kayaking!
So I think that for my remaining class at 2, I'm just gonna go Abbey Road and barefoot my walk.
ewww. kes! what are you doing in all that rain!

I was already absolutely soaked, so it's not like I could have gotten much more wet.
Heh, we're having the same problem on the coast. Washington State for the win!
Now, excuse me while I grab a row boat...
3548154
well your gonna catch a cold! *takes your tail and pulls you into a bubble*
3548214
Please, I don't get sick. The rain is fun!
3548221
ignores the singing and makes sure you stay in the bubble by making another spell*
Could you send the rain to Ohio please? I love rainy days.
3548255
Nope. Rain is a good thing. Keeps the food growing.
The rain cycle is truly magic.
3548295
Well, I'm not sure how far the El Niño will reach, but it's pretty big.
3548295
*sends cloud rocketing towards ohayo*
3548306 Its the biggest one in history from what I've heard.
And it means no snow this winter.
*Distant crying noises*
Sorry to hear you're getting rained on.
3548539
It's cool. I think it's actually pretty funny.
3548560 Florida's just getting out of having a bunch of rain.
It's raining pretty bad in Illinois right now as well, especially in Peoria. And Peoria does not have good drainage...

Gotcha covered, brother. This also happened during the great flood of the student housing tunnel.
Rip, and why is this not california
Oh wow! I've never seen that much amount of water on bare land except on the news. Yikes. Stuff like that never happens where I live so I'm like; when I see it happening where other people live.
Don't drown now good Sir.

I'm no sir to you or anyone else. And naw, it's just swimming on land. I decided to walk barefoot that afternoon. We also had fishing, swimming, and air mattress surfing.
3550118
Heh, I see. Good for you, I guess.
You think that's strange for November?
Down here, in Southeast Florida, the leaves don't change color or fall off the trees or anything, it's been thunderstorming regularly, and it's still eighty degrees. In November.
But I hope you and everyone else stays safe!

That's because you're way closer to the equater. I'd be surprised if you weren't getting rain regularly, because Florida get drain quite often. I'd be much more surprised if you guys had snow.
The point about this blog was that the El Niño hit and the rain flooded some parts of my campus.

Puget Sound is doing just fine, just a little nippy.....and I can't park my car where I use to anymore due to the rain. #ihavethehighground

Wow when it rains, it rains
3564149
Ha, yeah we are doing mostly alright now, except for that wind storm a week ago...
3564179 yeah, I lost power for about 2 days. The funny thing was that day I got home early from work and I was about to play that new Star Wars battlefront game for PC.
