Shipping. That wonderful thing that everypony likes.
That was sarcasm.
I don't actually dislike shipping. Only certain ships, such as:
-FlutterMac. Just because they're both quiet doesn't mean couple. Geez.
-Octiscratch. "Opposites attract" isn't nessicarily true. As roommates? Yes. As a couple? Eeeh, no./
-Self-insert x any member of the Mane Six. Because ego-stroking and self-promotion make a wonderful story. Sarcasm.
But most of all, I have a strong dislike of TwiDash and any other Mane Six ships. Not only do most of them make no sense, (RariDash *cough cough*but people lesbian ship despite all evidence that the characters in question are straight. They are also popular to the point that every time I see one I get a little sick. There's always at least one lesbian Mane Six shipfic in the top box, and I don't know why. Seriously.
Shipper example thing: (because i like examples)
This pony youtube whose name eludes me: "After looking at all this evidence, I conclude that Rainbow Dash is straight."
Shippers: "Eh, screw it! TwiDash ftw!"
I may be overgeneralizing shippers here, but I don't care.
As for me, I prefer shipping between characters I like, instead of some_unknown_jerk+mane6, or, worse, some_jerk+princess.
