The Sequel to Turnabout Storm is finally coming!

    So, a little context:

Some time ago I found a small little YouTube channel that was making their own version of a Turnabout Storm sequel. I was told by many that it would probably die. It almost did.

After the creator's hard drive crashed, it spent the last couple years in development hell.

I wish the notifications stayed around later.

Every once in awhile I'll get notifications here. However, because of the short amount of time they stay in your box, I don't always get to see what some of them are.

Take a couple days ago for instance. I got on, and saw six notifications. However, I could only veiw the most recent. Which, was a new follower.

I haven't been here since April.

And there's only really one reason why.

    Inspiration. Or lack thereof.

I still have inspiration from time to time. But never for a long enough time for story making.

At this point I may be cancelling whatever stories I haven't finished by the end of January.

The only story I may still finish one day is the last case in the Malum story, as I'm only half way through it.

At the edge of Apocalypse. . .

She shook as the implications of what was said were finally made clear.

"But. . .I promised. Remember? Our. . ." Her voice shook as she looked at the calm expression of her friend's face.

And the urge to write has returned at long last.

For those of you who don't know. I just uploaded another chapter to Malum Prohibitum: The Changeling Trials.

To be honest, I had originally started the chapter a year and a month ago, just after posting the last one in March 2017.

It feels good to finally have made progress.

Before I fall asleep. . . (last airbender blog post) · 12:39pm Nov 15th, 2015

So, recently, I've been contemplating about a story that would be a sort of sequel to The Legend of Korra.

Only problem there is I'd need to watch Season 2 again, as I've seen maybe half of it.

But, in a nutshell:

Arin stood atop the crumbling wall, looking down at the vast city below.

"Are you sure it's here?" Hila asked Arin, stepping up beside him.

"I was told to look for the Last City, and every map we've seen seems to say this is it." Arin answered.

"But just look at it, this place is a Maze!" Kanaro exclaimed, having just arrived as Arin finished his explanation.

"Welcome travelers!" A man in a shady robe exclaimed suddenly, causing everyone to jump.

"W-who are you?" Arin asked.

"I? I am a refugee, tasked with guard duty." The man answered, "And when I sensed you posed no threat, I decided to welcome you."

The three looked at the man, who's face was hidden by the large hood he wore. Then they turned around to discuss their next move.

"Alright," Kanaro said as soon as everyone huddled, "This guy is obviously hiding something, And if he doesn't tell us, we'll use him as leverage."

"I think he'll be kind enough to tell us." Hila stated.

"Either way, something about this place feels off, we should stay weary." Arin instructed.

"Ah, you are wise, for this place is dangerous." The robed man said. There was a short pause before the group suddenly broke with screams.

"Aha!" The robed man chuckled, "I haven't had this much fun in years!"

"Alright, tell us, what are you hiding?" Kanaro demanded.

Sudden;y, the man grew quiet, and his voice somber. "Hiding? We aren't hiding ANYTHING!"

"Calm down sir! We didn't mean to offend!" Arin exclaimed quickly.

"CALM?! THEY ARE GOING TO FLOOD US ALL!!!" The man shouted now, completely delirious. "HOW COULD I BE CALM?!"

"What do we do?! He's lost it!" Hilda shouted over the man's rants.

"SIRE!" The man shouted again, "We have to leave! They are at the walls! They. . ." He fell silent.

"Sir. . . . .?" Arin asked, inching closer to the now silent man.

Suddenly, and without warning, the man grabbed Arin's arms.

"WHERE WERE YOU?!" the man demanded, "WHY DID YOU LEAVE?!"

"I. . I don't understand, what are you talking about?!" Arin shouted.

"YOU! YOU ABANDONED US!" The man continued to shout, "YOU LEFT US TO DROWN! YOU KILLED US!"

Arin couldn't say anything, as fear had seized his chest, making it hard to breath. Hila went to firebend, but Kanaro shook his head.

The man had started to chuckle, starting slow at first and then getting faster.

"You. . . you don't even know who you are. . ." He chuckled.

"I. . . don't. . ." Arin repeated.

"YOU LET THE WORLD DIE!" The man shouted once more, "YOU FAILED, AVATAR!!"

. . .

This scene is actually before the one scene I wanted to write.

And there's actually a scene that started long before this. But I didn't think to put that one down.

I'm gonna go sleep now. Let me know what your thoughts are. . .
