Should I add a sex tag to Button's Date With Silver Spoon? · 1:43am Nov 12th, 2015
For those of you who are reading the fic (and thank you) and, spoilers below...
Since I'm using words such as aSEXual, homoexual, lesbians, ect, one of my pre-readers suggested I make the middle of the story about Button figuring out his identity, and to make a conflict between him and Silver Spoon about him likely not ever wanting to have sex. Problem is, that would mean a sex tag for sure, which I'm wondering if I should have already, and I really don't like adding a sex tag if I can help it cause I'm worried how people would look at the fic even though it's GOING to stay rated teen.
But what do you guys think? Got any opinions to ease my woes?
Honestly, most people with sex tags on their Teen-rated stories are similar to you. In the end of the long description, you might as well specify {Sex tag due to sexual themes in the story} or some such idea. But no one expects a teen story to be a steamy erotica thing, so you're good. Ask a few other people, obviously, check out some teen-rated sex-tagged stuff, decide then. In my opinion, you should warn people if there will be strong sexuality themes throughout your story, but it wouldn't really matter unless the masses clamor for the addition.
TL;DR: Add it if you want, but I don't think it's that big a deal.
As long as the story keeps up, I'm good with whatever.
