Daring Do and the Red Shoe Diary

For years, since nearly the start of the series' rise to international fame, the rumors have persisted: Was there an adult-oriented Daring Do story? Has our intrepid explorer gone down paths far more sordid and saucy than her audience could have imagined?

New Red Shoes Chapter is Live!

After far too long of a hiatus, Red Shoes is officially back with a new chapter!

This time, we'll be hearing from the co-owner of Sugarcube Corner, who has a saucy but sympathetic tale to tell.

I hope you enjoy, and let me know in the comments. Cheers, all!

    Red Shoe Diaries: The Return

    *blows the dust off*

Yikes. I let this sit for way, WAY too long. As I'm typing this I'm realizing it's been 4 years, since this story last updated. That's horrendous, and also entirely my fault. True, lots of life has happened to me, and then there's the world going mad besides. But still, I should NOT have let this story lapse like this. For that, readers, you have my apologies.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Been with family most of the day, but wanted to pop in and wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!

This has admittedly been a crappy year for me, but I AM very thankful for all of you. Your support means the world, and I'm glad y'all are here.

In the comments, let me know what your fave Turkey Day desserts are!

Achievement Unlocked (x2): Accepted to Royal Guard! · 1:31am Nov 11th, 2015

Great news, everyone! I just received word this afternoon that Ciphers has been accepted to The Royal Guard! This calls for a party!!

Ciphers now joins Scars as the second story of mine to earn a place on the Guard's shelves. Not a bad showing at all, wouldn't you say, Miss de Lis?

I must again thank Noble Thought, Xepher, Winston, and Jade Ring for their collective efforts as pre-readers, editors, and idea generators. Ciphers would not have achieved a fraction of this success without their help, and they are as deserving of the spotlight here as anyone. Take a bow, gentlemen!

The next site post from the Guard won't be for another week or so, but keep an eye out for it!

Cheers, folks!

Congrats, man! I got the note from Inquisitor today on the review I did for you. I knew that it was going places. (Speaking of which, I'm pretty sure that once I get the admins in PCaRG moving, they'll be reassigning Ciphers to Masterpiece status).

Not gonna lie, a little jealous. Still, legit congrats.

Congrats, it was definitely a good read.

3534691 I've already given it my OK, we just need a couple more votes. Actually, I'll do it right now.

Wow, thank you both so much!! You just made my day even better! :D

3534863 I'm still trying to work on a SpikexFleur fic. Progress is hindered. Sorry, the gif up top just reminded me of that.

Congrats!! Cipher was a great story and well deserves a place here.

3534876 If it's got Fleur, I'll read it! ;)

3534888 It's gonna be a collab with a friend of mine who speaks french. It's called Language Barrier. Maybe you'll dig it.

Congratulations sir! I certainly can't say that the story isn't deserving!

Ciphers was a great read, and it's good to see that it's getting recognition.

Congratulations! Most definitely a deserving story that I'm proud to have helped with. I knew you were on to something and that this one was gonna go places, and it certainly has! :pinkiehappy:
