I was going to save this for another three weeks so I could reveal it on IWBYP's anniversary, but y'know what? Screw it. I'm too excited.
(Also -- nearly a year since I posted this? Bloody hell. That's terrifying.)
Anyway, a few days ago an artist going by the name of Silvertrash sent me a message and said he wanted to make a manga version of my story. Once I had retrieved my jaw from the groud, I gave the project my blessing.
So now, you can find the first three pages of this manga on Tumblr. If tumbling isn't your thing, you can also see the comics on Derpibooru under the tag "I wanna be your pony", thanks to Mit Boy.
I'm hoping we'll also see a dA version in the near future.

Rather than the jaw, in my case it was that heart-rate spike when I saw those pages on derpi. Followed by a "this can't be what I think it is... Can it? Yes... Oh, quite yes."
That look on Sunset's face in the blog panel to the right seems apropos.
I presume the tumblr version will be rather true to the story in its... depictions? I imagine a few of the pages bound for dA would need some creative censoring in that regard, if so.
I tried reading it backwards before I realized what I was doing, but this is amazing.

Haha, that is an apropos picture.
I've talked to the artist and encouraged him to skip over the nonessential bits (because if he doesn't, this thing is gonna take years to complete), but that's all so far. The porn sections probably should be trimmed because they're so extensive, but ultimately it's up to him. I hadn't though about the dA problem, but I imagine it wouldn't be too bad to leave out the explicit comics there.

Got the email alert of the comment here. I'm actually... looking forward to seeing how the artist will pull off the intimate scenes - so hoping not too much gets trimmed.
And from what I've seen some artists note on their mature pics on dA, the site is fine with M-rated "art" with a few rules. Which I believe are: no 'penetration' of any sort and no... 'fluids'. I guess they figure at that point it's no longer "art" and rather full-on porn. Heh.
Unfortunately SILVERTRASH has disappeared! He hasn't updated his DeviantArt page or his Tumblr in over a year. I hope he's okay and by Celestia I so want him to finish this comic. :(
