As it turns out I'm pretty bad at keeping my promises from the last journal entry. It seems having the inspiration or ideas to write the things you feel you should write just don't always work out the way you think they should. Especially when you feel what you ended up with wasn't all that great in the long run.
But, ever since Friendship Games came out my desire to read Sunset Shimmer/EQG fics has been at an all-time high and I've been enjoying quite a few very high-quality fics that inspired me to make one of my own! I haven't found any fic that depicted in detail the events of Sunset Shimmer adjusting to being a human before the first movie began, just people tossing out various ideas of what they thought happened, so I figured I might as well toss my hat into the ring and give my version of events out for people to read.
Chances are that if they ever show an actual flashback this isn't going to be what happened at all, but oh well I'm having fun with it and no matter what they do for the fourth movie I'm looking forward to it. And I hope you all enjoy the fic as much as I enjoy writing it! I know it's not really horror or romance, the two things I tend to be known for here, but I put just as much heart into it as the stories that I wrote that actually were good heh
