Another long break between chapters · 4:38pm Oct 28th, 2015
Still haven't done much with chapter 4 yet. I have a number of ideas for things to come in later chapters, but having a bit of block getting this "day about town" started.
Did get some inspiration last night to start on a drawing of a scene from chapter 3. Just a few hours of sketching, but there's a certain warmth to the "sketchy" phase of pictures like this, I feel, so wanted to share the early WIP. Spoiler-ish, so link instead of direct pic.

Personally I love sketches. Sometimes more than the final product.

You make that work surprisingly well given their height difference, though I might have simply negated it by having Adagio laying down more, perhaps coiled around Sunset. Might have if I could draw at all.

I really wanted this "looking up" imagery for the drawing.

I'm coming to realize that too, with the sketches. Opted for simple linework this time around to keep some of that feeling in the final.
