    Samurai Jack

So. I started getting into Samurai Jack now that they're giving it a season 5.

    And I just realized something.

Nightmare Moon's story is just Samurai Jack from the other perspective.

    Sci-fi fans: support this game!

Finally, someone sat down and did space combat RIGHT. No longer will we have to argue about if "fighters are useless" or the value of the "cube squared law." Finally, we can sit down and say "this works, and this doesn't."

Stuff I bought with my No Man's Sky refund: Duskers

So! In the wake of the No Man's Sky fiasco, namely it not being half the game it was promised to be, I find myself with 60 bucks in my steam wallet needing somewhere to go. And I figure some of you might be in the same situation. SO, in the spirit of that, I give you:

Welp (episode spoilers) · 4:16pm Oct 24th, 2015

Hey all! Lines here. I know I don't talk a lot, or really publish a lot these days, and I'd like to take a moment to talk about that. You see, I've always been an avid follower of Kilala97 and Lopoddity's work in creating "next gen" ponies. Honestly, I suspect a good number of you know me from the stories I did inspired by their work.

As such, it was a natural choice for me to try and create a next gen of my own. Focusing on this project is part of why my own publishing has slowed to a crawl even by my own standards. I had everything planned. I even got art drawn of some of them. I had everything lined up.

(This is 4 of them by the by. Big thanks to Farewell Decency for the lovely art.)

Everything was ready to go, I even spent this morning on chapter 1!

And then, today's episode happened.

Now here's where the spoilers begin, so watch yourself, but in today's episode, we are introduced to Marble Pie, an adorable wallflower cut from the same cloth as Fluttershy.

Who was, by the end of the episode, shipped with Big Mac. By the show itself.

Well, this kind of derails my idea because, see that blue unicorn up there? She was a Twi-Mac kid, a ship I originally championed because it was sort of the dark horse among Flashlight, Twilestia, and Discolight. I thought there was some real grounds there for a quiet, supportive relationship. Now, I'm all for AU pairings, but the problem is, I like Marble. She's frikkin adorable, and Big Mac with her just doubles it. So... yeah. I might be able to change my poor girl's heritage, but... *shrugs* I'm not really seeing a way out here. The real shame is that she was a main character, so while the rest of the ships hold, this one ship kind of takes the whole armada with it.

Faugh, frustration.

Though on the plus side, I relish the thought of what this episode is about to do to Cheerimac. Be like Admiral Yi versus the Japanese.

(Oh, and for those of you who watch me for my crack comedies, don't worry, I just watched moonbeam city, which honestly was fantastic as all get-out. So maybe some inspiration will come from that.)

That's unfortunate.

Ponies can form herds.

All I'm saying.

Well, it looks interesting. Who are these guys?
